Having problems with the HentaiVerse? Not sure how to play the game? Just generally looking for information?

First of all, please don't go creating new threads for every little thing. It clutters up the forum and annoys other users. There are plenty of places where you can find help, or (if necessary) ask questions. Read this topic before you post. Also, don't ask questions in this thread.

If the HentaiVerse seems to be broken, the chances are that it's a site-wide problem, everyone is affected and someone has already reported it. Look for recent posts in this subforum, and if there's nothing here, check the Help Desk. You might also want to check for recent [twitter.com] Twitter updates from the admin. If you can't find anything, then report the problem.

If you're looking for information, try these links:

• The EHWiki. The HentaiVerse category contains a large amount of information, not just on the game itself, but also on related topics such as character stats, equipment and so on. This should definitely be your first port of call.
  The Wiki now also contains a list of Frequently Asked Questions.
  
  
• The HV Questions Thread. If you've read the wiki, and still have questions about how things work, this is the place to ask them. Bear in mind that someone else may already have asked the same question, so please take a minute or two to search the thread before posting. (The search box can be found at the bottom of the page, where it says "Enter Keywords".)
  
  
• Ask the Experts. Post here if you would like advice from more experienced players. Be aware that no one, no matter how high their level, necessarily knows the absolute "best" way to play HV, and all such advice should be treated with caution.
  Notes:
  1. See here for how to get the URLs of equipment that you want to link to.
  2. The first post in the thread contains instructions on how to create screen shots.
  
  
• If there's something specific you're looking for, you might find it by searching the Release Notes subforum. I'd advise you to select "Show results as posts" and filter it to show only posts by Tenboro (site admin and creator of HV). Of course, these notes only describe changes to the HentaiVerse and don't necessarily go into detail, so you're not guaranteed to find anything...
  
  
• Honourable mention: HV Tips and Information. This hasn't been updated for a while, though, so you probably shouldn't rely on anything it says. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Some other topics that you may find useful:

• How do I beat a Legendary? Basically a mini "ask the experts" thread giving advice on how to tackle the various "legendary" monsters. The earlier parts may be a little out of date, so my advice is to work backwards from the end, unless you want to read the whole thing.
  
  
• HV STAT - The HV Statistics, Tracking, and Analysis Tool. Keeps track of your battle statistics so you don't have to, and does other things far too numerous to mention here.
  
  
• HV Equip Scaling Calc. Shows at a glance how the stats of any piece of equipment would scale to a different level.
  
  
• EH Calculator is "a free program, written in VB.net 2008 that performs various calculations for E-hentai.org including GP to Credit, Karma and Power, Training, Bonuses in General, Hath calculation, HentaiVerse Attributes and more!" Like STAT, its full capabilities are also too numerous to mention.

I think this covers pretty much everything. Definitely need a link to Sonic's Calc, as well.

Most players don't know how to get to the search form. Make sure to mention that you can search specific posts, and not just forum threads. Don't want them going through 800 pages or posting again.

I've added a note on where to find the search box, since you can't see it if you're at the top of the page.

I have 2 suggestions, put some "How to make screen pics and post them later", and "How to generate a equipment link by clicking C key" advices

The upness or downness of the wiki at any point in time isn't really relevant to this topic...
