Maybe I'm a bit late, but whatever...

Obviously the answer is that, with an estoc, you stab though one monster to the next, and the next, and the next.
This is made possible because all the monsters are standing in a line, as they most assuredly would do.
This was my first impression of what DOM strike is supposed to be as well. (because of this, I had a wrong assumption of how DOM works for an entire year back) But it's clearly wrong considered how it's actually works... (IMG:[

This is how its works.Let's say your character has 200 2H prof (max DOM strike range for each direction = 4) and 70% DOM strike chance and using regular (non-Niten) 2H fighting style.
And let's say you face 9 enemies at once (mob_1-9) ... If you attack monster no.5, here's what happen..
QUOTE
1) - If you missed, your turn ends here and no DOM strike check will be perform. If your attack connected, the main target (mob_5 in this case) get hit for full damage.
2) - Checking for DOM strike hits for monster above the main target (mob_4) using your DOM strike proc chance, which is 70% in this case. DOM strike is count as success whatever your attacks actually connected or missed as long as you pass the DOM strike check. If DOM strike failed, skip to [5]; your DOM strike for this side end here.
3) - Checking for DOM strike hits for the next monster in line (mob_3) using the same process and rules as in step [2].
4) - If you pass the DOM strike check in step 3. DOM strike will always proc for the next 2 monsters (mob_2 and mob_1).
5) - Repeat the process in step [2], [3] and [4] for the monster below the main target (mob_6-9)
** Critical are roll separately for each mobs.
So, DOM strike chance / damage for a single attacks would look like this...
QUOTE
1 - xx% / 40%
2 - xx% / 60%
3 - 49% / 80%
4 - 70% / 95%
5 - Main target.
6 - 70% / 95%
7 - 49% / 80%
8 - xx% / 60%
9 - xx% / 40%
xx = same result as the previous roll
From this... It seems that Domino strike, as the name suggested, is actually works by monster hitting each other and
not that you hitting through hoard of monsters... Kinda like knight's skill 'Bowling Bash' in Ragnarok Online ... You know what I mean if you ever play that game...
