I'd like to officially start an official thread where people can ask for free things in the HV game and (hopefully) others respond to the plight of the needy and help them out.

Hopefully, this works. Otherwise, it'll crash and burn (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'm hoping people will be generous to those less fortunate than themselves (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You can send one of the following people a PM if you don't have anything and are just starting out.
Please include your wanted playing style (2handed, dual-wield, sword and board, caster) and wanted armor type (mage, leather, heavy).

When they send you the equipment, the unofficial way to give back is to press their +Karma buttons for a few days every day.

I'm talking about serious requests from people who don't already get lots of Hath and credits from H@H (ICHY) or who have no real means of income in HV.

With all seriousness, it's so much easier to level up now than before.
Basic equipments are supplied in large quantity at WTS, and players can reach lv 200 in 1-2 months with proper strategy.
If anyone want to have equipments, they can simply go to experts thread and ask for advices.
That should be way more effective.

Also im very poor. I only have about 5% of the needed Crystals for Lisis next STR Up (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Also, I'm not saying new players shouldn't get free equipments.
But making them begging for that makes me feel uncomfortable.

Earning credits thru HV is reasonable enough, but it's the extra Cr that we need to buy a reasonable better equipment that's the problem for us lower level players just to gain an advantage over the monsters & to progress faster.

Personally, I would like to have some Hath (20), at least to turn off the ads. It's really slowing down my browsing.

As we progress onwards in our levels, we can than earn off the higher level equip that are dropped but not needed.

At my best i can get 2 lvls a day playing for 4-5 hours.

Play through higher difficulty, train your adept learner, get 10 post bonus everyday...

most of the time i just play hard. I dont do the whole posting thing I tryed last night in the spamhouse and didnt notice any xp difference. and spending 20minutes to read poast\post seems to be counterproductive to me.

Mage Mage Mage! Just use the AP from you dont need from overcharge onto exp boost, get 10 posts bonus, then play on hard (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Soul burst/ Banish + Thunderstorm works like a charm (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Also i think it takes some time for the post bonus to take affect. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I think I should throw in my 2 cents here because I do have experience with both getting free stuff and posting free stuff threads.

The free stuff thread isn't going to work unless someone posts they plan to give away for free. And we already have an "Official Freebies" thread, it's called "Ask the Experts", whenever I post in there, everyone goes "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY RAPIERS!" or something along those lines.

There's also the equipment thread, if you PM someone asking to buy a linked item they posted, there is a chance that they'll just give it to you for free. I got these for instance doing this.

For stuff like items, credits and crystals however, you're own your own.

Helping in the galleries and getting onto the toplists for all of the categories gives you a very large boost to your daily experience as well.

I want those "Godly-Pony-Magical-Friendship-Potion" but I dunno, I really don't use potion during battles. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) and if I'm not engaged in a fight, I just sit and wait for my health bar to regen.
