New editing bounty for cleaning a doujin. It's 24 pages, with the majority of the text in opaque speech bubbles. However there's about 10 or so occurances of bubbleless text. Probably still an easy job, but I'm not an editor so I can't say for sure.

the mediafire link in the description is 600 DPI, which may make it easier to clean as well.

I'm just wondering if I'm doing it right. Also whats the best way to add in text?

If you're using Photoshop, use the text tool.... obviously. If you want something more in-depth, please use this [prettyanonymo.us] typesetting guide, that I highly recommend.

Ah ok, I use gimp myself but same difference. It's been a year since I last messed with anything and I've never messed with manga so I have no idea what I'm doing really. I was hoping there was some sort of typesetting program or something like that but oh well.

Thanks for the link, thats exactly the info I needed. I chose a few fonts to use for this, but I could always use suggestions. Also, how should I translate the sound effects, with a little effort I can pull out my kana charts until I remember them, but should I translate exactly or is there a general accepted translation for most things?

Photoshop is my typesetting program of choice, and I've heard GIMP is fine. Anyway, there are a couple SFX guides here. For me personally, I like to have them translated or just don't bother with them. However you choose to place them is your choice.

For the first page, remove the stylized ごっつあんですっ and clean the remaining text box. For the second page, remove あっあっ from the text bubble in the bottom panel. Don't forget the little marks just outside the bubble as well.

These are the cleaned versions of the pages. If you would prefer to work on the original pages, which are twice the size, that's fine too... you can find them here.

I'll pay 50 hath + 50k C for the first page and 25 hath + 25k C for the second page. Post here if you intend to work on a page so that other people will know not to waste their time. I'll set up the relevant bounties once I've received the completed work.
