Ah, a cheap dark/pre-Fenrir setup. I was wondering as they don't sell well and I've never used my DF set for anything.

if it's got good int bonus along with the prof bonuses, then it might be sellable. most people have been jumping onto the fox band-wagon lately though so that might explain why
e: although that might change a tad since soul is not as awesome-saucesome now ^^

QUOTE(dcherry @ Jul 15 2011, 03:22) @midnight that's good. i still haven't attempted RL myself yet. my melee prof sucks and i haven't gathered any god killing weapons to my standard. sucks that he's resistant to all spells (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ISO VOID SPELLS curse him to death lol? with flower vase, gum plus full curse weaver set

QUOTE(SneakyGray @ Jul 14 2011, 21:18) did you do anything special? I'll hit lvl 100 myself soon, and i'm wondering how i should go about defeating the gods.
Standard route? Spark of life, weaken, bewilder, regen, poison and stuff?
edit i should mention i'm 2H with an average of 320~ damage per rounds (5~)
Spark, weaken, bewilder, poison, bleed At your level you probably want to use some mitigation gear against IPU and FSM. Also use haste against FSM or you will face.. well... problems (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) This post has been edited by Ichy: Jul 14 2011, 21:28

@midnight i'm too cheap to use specials. i spent 2 godly manas killing IPU for my first time. spent same amount killing FSM. i'm not in a hurry to kill him. there's no advantage killing him now over killing him 2 weeks from now. spending specials to kill a god i plan on revisiting frequently dumbs down the reward imo.
vs IPU thrice blessed gear will help. and so will dark infusions
e: him = RL

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) It's simle then; 2 Rapiers + Infusions of Darkness. Your aims is to have 100% PA on him and keep attacking, he'll go down like flies in no time. Same goes to FSM, just use Infusions of Divinity instead.

that might be why. i'm running lightning/fire and it eats him up pretty nicely since the explosion from blowing up the lightning dishes out 2x lightning dmg roughly
e: not sure how the damage is calculated from the elements exploding now but most of my kills are actually from the complimentary explosions.

I'm lightning/fire for now, but am trying to change to wind/lightning soon. Bunko started with -25 lightning resists but seems to be rather resistant to my lightning spells for a giant. I only really have a problem with him when I play on heroic because my first spell usually leaves him agitated and he smacks me for a ton of damage. I'd recommend getting Adept Learning to about 100 and max out both Pack Rat and Refined Aura. The extra EXP will definitely help out and the extra slots will help with longer Arenas/IW/GF.

@dark it depends what you want. wealth wise, your scavenger could use a bit of help. level wise, your adept learner has a LOT of space for improvement. don't do any more assimilator imo @frosty weird. i'm doing nightmare and he doesn't hurt me until about round 80+ in exq IW. make sure you two have decent evade imo. unless you're planning on 1 shot (evade won't be necessary then). i'm sitting on ~26% evade before SV also make sure you're doing proper targeting. if targeting bunko doesn't kill him and leaves him agitated, then DON'T target him. it'll save you from his agitation (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) wind/lightning is pretty awesome. pretty good dragon/giant/bot slaying... but undeads will give trouble

Thanks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) BTW, is there a table anywhere for maximums and minimums on equipment rolls? I have this one 'average' staff of focus with +40.57% MAcc while another staff "of Destruction" has a mere +10.22% MDmg. I can't really tell whether stuff is comparatively good.

I'm no grandmaster but a lot of people I've seen don't like heavy armor, and if they do run heavy they only run Power (the burden on Plate seems REALLY bad)

@dark https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=36244 <- that's the closest thing we have in regards to max stats (i don't think people would bother with "lowest" stats). most of it is out-dated though i think and from experience i find plate gear is not as burden/interference intensive as plate. each type of heavy armor appears to have its own advantage. shield = block. power = adm. plate = mitigation (or maybe just cause it's so common we see all the high mitigation rolls on plate) @meow i've seen melees use both (ie a fair share in light armor and a fair share in heavy armor). it's more depedent on what bonuses you're after, really. e: plate gear is not as burdne/intereference intesnive as *power/shield gear This post has been edited by dcherry: Jul 15 2011, 09:46

I heard you like plates, so i put a plate in your plate so you can tank while you tank. This post has been edited by DarkDespair5: Jul 15 2011, 09:51

<== Melee using 2h+set of Power gear. 106,7 Interference, 84,3 Burden. Since I've got no experience playing in light armor I cannot compare anything, sadly. Still it seems like I am wiping out mobs pretty fine, but god damn these bosses and their spells...
