Salvage if you need the scraps for repair (which you most likely don't, since gear only starts degrading quickly past level 200), or salvage if you play a whole lot and want to sell the more valuable scraps / graded materials. In your position, I'd just sell everything.

QUOTE(blue88 @ Feb 24 2015, 04:24) shadow veil spell is it useful For anything other than 1h/shield, it's quite nice for reducing damage taken, especially for fragile mages. Evade is rolled before block/parry - so a player with high block or parry won't benefit from SV quite as much. If an attack is evaded first, 1h can't counter-attack and stun (one of the main perks of the 1h style) - that in addition to high block/parry makes SV only useful for them if you absolutely need the extra defense and have the mana to spare.

QUOTE(nec1986 @ Feb 23 2015, 16:13) 31 2 Void Strike hits Ryouko Asakura for 4968 void damage. 31 1 Arcane Blow hits Ryouko Asakura for 12165 void damage.
Its not 1h, but already quite solid damage and i can easy use imperil because ether tap. So probably to start do schoolgirls with staff was not so bad idea for prof farming + trophies.
Time to IW staff to level 10, perhaps? QUOTE(ariosty @ Feb 24 2015, 06:10) I thought OP was the best ability for high difficulty.
Hmm. Why is counter-parry better for high difficulty when comapred to swift strike or archmage?

Bacon, is it tasty? I need some experts to help me out here...
jk, I've finally started getting arena challenges with bosses on every round past the first few and I managed it but it takes ages because I have 11 battle item spots (maybe 12, idk), and if I just use mage and pots they run out regardless, but I ended up using concussive strike and bashing the schoolgirls with my staff for ET, is there any better way, or abilities that would help out and allow me to just mage?
EDIT: note I am also an elec mage, I imagine it would be faster with holy/dark prof, so I was thinking about training that

If I were you, I'd avoid playing the schoolgirl arenas, at least until you have the level and gear and abilities to play them fast and efficiently, especially since you're mage instead of 1h, and you aren't holy/dark. They all take significantly longer to play, and End of Days and Eternal Darkness give fewer credits and experience per round than the standard high-level arenas. The main benefit is trophies (might as well go through on Normal if that's what you want) and a very slightly higher chance of getting a great piece of equipment than playing in other battle series (on time-consuming high difficulty).

Isolate schoolgirls, keep Weaken & Silence on them, then continually proc CM with cheap spells for Ether Tap. Convert built-up Overcharge into MP with Focus. Balance this with potion usage.
You should clear them on Normal once for the initial clear bonus and then forget about them until you're higher level and have much better equipment.

(IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/X3sKy.jpg) Bacon is very tasty. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) imo, SpellSpam T3>T2>T1 every non-SG@hell. that way you'll get your 100-200k credits/active day. if you've more time you can try BT or IWTBH for exp so you level up faster, but that'll require debuffs (imperil/silence/etc) and you'll like ran out of mana pretty soon.

My mage set is bad, so probably a bit later. As i remember my best stuff is something like this one: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=c05ae2a754And its nothing special.

you can test the roll yourself. Overpower is useless if applied to stunned mobs, but stun needs succesful hit to proc & it doesn't stack so people need to stun again immediately when the mobs wake up. I think it's mandatory for mace users.

The lottery, I guess? You actually know what's gonna drop. Now you just need to get lucky. QUOTE(Dead-ed @ Feb 24 2015, 16:20) you can test the roll yourself. Mmm. Yeah, stunned monsters can't parry, so counter-parry would be useless. Overpower seems pretty redundant for rapier users though? counter-attack doesn't seem to require a parry roll. And, is there anything specific about playing at high difficulty that makes overpower better than swift strike?
