Spirit Mode Stance
- Spirit Stance no longer increases magic damage by 50%; instead it reduces mana cost for all spells by 25%. (This includes upkeep for Innate Arcana.)
- Activating Spirit Stance now requires at least 50% Overcharge.
Combat Skills
- Skills now only drain the minimum required Overcharge when used. Bonus damage for having higher than 100% Overcharge is however still applied.
- All skills now have a cooldown.
- Skill chaining has been implemented. Using a tier-1 chainable skill unlocks tier-2 skills for a few turns, while tier-2 skills naturally unlocks tier-3 ones.
- New skills unlock with higher proficiency. Note that for Niten, the smallest of Dual-Wield and Two-Handed proficiency is used.
- The following skills were added/modified:
One-Handed: Shield Bash (Tier-1 chainable) initial skill, Vital Strike (Tier-2 chainable) at 50 prof, Merciful Blow (Tier-3 chainable) at 100 prof.
Dual-Wield: Iris Strike (Tier-1 chainable) initial skill, Backstab (Tier-2 chainable) at 50 prof, Frenzied Blows (Tier-3 chainable) at 100 prof.
Burden and Interference
- The effect of Burden and Interference have been changed. They no longer have any effect on action speed and proficiency; instead they reduce certain stats directly.
Note that the new system does not have a "grace value" before it starts taking effect, so every single point counts. Also, in this context, a reduction of 50% means that the original stat is halved, not a straight -50 for the stat.
- Burden now has the following effects: -- Evade is reduced by 4/3rd of a percent for every point of burden, capping at 75 where no evade remains. -- Physical Crit is reduced by 2% for every point of burden above 75, capping at 125.
- Interference now has the following effects: -- Magical Crit is reduced by 2% for every point of interference, capping at 50. -- Mana Cost is increased by 0.5 for every point of interference.
- The weight of Redwood Staffs was decreased from 20,10 to 10,4; the weight of Willow Staffs was decreased from 20,10 to 12,6; the weight of Oak Staffs was decreased from 20,10 to 15,7
- Newly generated Shade Armor no longer has burden, but interference was increased slightly. -- Arcanist-type Shade Armor now reduces interference by 75% instead of 50%.
Misc
- The "Items" pane has been changed to "Battle Items", and now only displays consumables that can be slotted for use in battle.
- A new screen "Inventory" that displays all your items and equipment has been added. This includes the equipment counter that was previously removed from the equipment screen.
- A new stat "Mana Cost" was added. Its default value is 100%, and it's currently only affected by interference.
- Fixed title bonus damage. Note that this is applied live in battle, and will not show up on the stat screen.
- Monster health now scales by an additional factor of 1/200 per level. Monster health bonus for increasing difficulty was decreased.
- A MoogleMail that has MoogleMail as sender can no longer be returned. This prevents a rare situation where messages could end up in limbo.
- Tweaked the item shop prices on most materials.
- Monsters no longer start with more than 50% resistance to any element. The following changes were applied: -- Celestial: holy -25 -- Daimon: dark -25 -- Giant: piercing -25 -- Mechanoid: holy -25, soul -25, str +1 -- Undead: dark -25, cold -25, elec -25, wind -25, str +1

Evade is reduced by 4/3rd of a percent for every point of burden, capping at 75 where no evade remains. Isn't this a bit too much? I only have 7.2 burden from the staff and lost more than three points.
Monster health now scales by an additional factor of 1/200 per level. Monster health bonus for increasing difficulty was decreased. This is really annoying, I can barely one-shot on Normal. Guess I'll have to start using the Forge. Meh.
Edit: Spawned Monster H: MID=14942 (Elizabeth) LV=283 HP=10384.5 What the hell. Last week she had 4330 HP.

newly generated shade armor has about 15% more interference
e: which is like 4% increase in mana cost~ also mages that want to be protected from 65% of all attacks have more of a reason to get arcanist armor now, shame about no edb though but that's the point!
