So I just killed FSM with my CW set on, without a Gum or a Vase... and it took twice as long as doing it with my Heaven-sent set (mostly because Poison was ticking for a measly 340). I even used 4 Infusions of Divinity + Banish Spam just to speed it up and end the boredom, which I don't do while fighting him with my holy set. Both sets have +170 proficiency, so I'm kinda baffled. Why do people think CW vs. FSM is a good strategy? Am I just doing something totally wrong? Noodle Reward: Superior Cotton Cap of Warding. My first piece of complete shit from a noodle. Hopefully this doesn't continue tomorrow.

If you CAN kill FSM with Banish spam and would rather do so that way (IE it's faster, or costs less item wise), go for it. Also, keep in mind that the strategy was originally designed to kill the Gods on IWBTH, which is a whole different animal entirely. The fact that it can used to easily kill them on normal for people who are unable to do so easily otherwise, is secondary. That maybe because you're not using Gum or Vase, which should be the core for CW strategy I remember that it makes much difference described by people who used this strategy

QUOTE((Cheater) KamuiSeph @ Apr 7 2011, 01:58) Really I would recommend having elementalist, curse weaver, demon fiend and heaven sent/heimdall. Elem is pretty much your everyday equip for daily arenas, grindfests, etc. CW for higher difficulties (particularly IWBTH/BT) Demon fiend because none of the mobs (except the gods) have a resistance to soul dmg. Means if you get a good set + nice prof, pretty much = 1 shot screen wipes all the time. HS/Heimdall for FSM of course, gotta get all them noodles (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) On that note *shameless plug* Check out my shop for all your different set needs (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) !!! Best shop EVAHI do have a decent demon-fiend set (still need a staff), but Soul Harvest burns too much mana atm and Mechanoid-types are resistant to it (Thunderstorm+Inferno 2 shots last pretty much forever, at least on normal and hard difficulty IWs). The 50% damage boost from forbidden proficiency I currently get doesn't do much on bosses when I hit for so little. Then again I can rape that stupid White Bunneh in the face with it, so it's all gravy.

So how does the IWBTH strat go? Bring multiple pairs of Gum/Vase to get several super-Poisons off, and just survive through assloads of rounds of super-hard hitting FSM attacks? I'm pretty curious about this.

Blind is affected by CW proficiency. At our levels, and our proficiencies, we had 100% avoidance when combined with Shadow Veil. Whether or not this is actually intended is another question.

I hope when SP are changed so the soul stones too. Giving more power that is, 13 stones and all I had was 4.25x dmg increase? It should be at least 10% (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

What's the best time to end an auction, to ensure that the most number of people will have a chance to be around for the final bidding? Are weekends better, or worse?

If you have good equips, people will wake up at 4AM to bid (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) You're not gonna get everyone, so the time really doesn't matter. Just remember to remind people that they can always PM you and get you to bid by proxy. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Most people end them around the Dawn Event. Most people here live in North America and Europe, so it comes at a reasonable hour. If you end it at 4AM no one will be around to bid (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Weekdays seem better than weekends for auctions. I guess more people here have lives than you would think (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

QUOTE(kawaiiLOLI @ Apr 8 2011, 03:41) Hey guys. Kinda confused on how I should be spending xp/points/credits atm, so take a look and see what I should be spending on. Also, what equip should I be aiming for at this level? [ sadpanda.us] http://sadpanda.us/images/428032-QGIWQFU.jpg[ sadpanda.us] http://sadpanda.us/images/428031-4LKRXE7.jpg[ sadpanda.us] http://sadpanda.us/images/428030-CC9TW08.jpgalso got a 9 on scav, 3 LotD, 2 quart, 1 archae You should get either gossamer of the elementalist, like this: Average Gossamer Cap of the ElementalisOr (since you are using cold spells) phase of niflheim. Don't have any Niflheim phase pieces, but you get the picture. Make sure evade and physical absorb are decent and that it has a decent elemental proficiency bonus as well. For what's decent, refer to the maximum stat thread: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=36244As for exp, just keep your stats leveled. Since you are a mage, feel free to neglect STR and DEX for a while. But naturally you want to have very high INT, high WIS, ok END, normal AGI and low STR+DEX Use your credits in ability boost training and adept learner if you want to lvl up faster. And of course, don't forget scavenger, LotD and quartermaster. I would refrain from archaeologist. Artifacts are not that good atm. They can give you worthless scrolls and shit. Thanks! Also wanted to ask, is it worth getting slow or poison at this point, or just get it later on?

Until you start fighting boss monsters regularly (endgame arena and up), slow and poison won't be very useful.

Hey guys,
I had a question about loot from snowflake. When you trade in a trophy, is luck of the draw also factored in the loot roll? I've saved all of my trophies thinking it would be a waste turning them in for lower lvl equipment. Now that I'm over 100 I'm ready to cash em in... but so far I've only looted one Superior item and was wondering if I should wait until I increase my luck of the draw to increase the quality of equipment I get?

Let's ask the hentai wiki! Q: Does Luck of the Draw increase the quality of equipment granted by the Shrine? A: Not at this time. http://ehwiki.org/wiki/HentaiVerse_FAQSo here's your answer.

That's a good point. I'll add a link to that FAQ from the main HV page. QUOTE(Raidy @ Apr 8 2011, 16:42) which would be more useful for the boss fights, haste or slow?
Haste, most likely. Slow is fairly expensive, doesn't last very long, and has a chance to be resisted when you cast it. Unless you can consistently cast it with Channeling (to add 50% duration, make it cost 0 MP, and guarantee that it lands), Haste is your best bet. They stack, though, so if you can have both, that's even better. This post has been edited by coredumperror: Apr 9 2011, 02:06
