QUOTE(Toru Ikeda @ Oct 26 2014, 22:56) yes someone did tell me to do two hand... but i think there is 2 hand mastery skill? do i have to level that up until 200? or i can just ignore it? oh can someone give tutorial to the new skill tree? its so confusing... :c
edit: i have 72 skills points where do i put them? if im building a tank stun aoe block build? edit: man before the skill tree is only a couple of rows..now theres colums sub categories... :s so confusing
Currently, the easiest melee playing style is rapier + force shield + power slaughter armor *5. If you want an easy game, go for 1H heavy. P.S.: At your level, shortsword is also working. You may think 1H is slow. In fact, 1H is faster than 2H/DW when you can maintain your spirit stance (permanence spirit stance, 2x damage). 2H is really bad in this patch, at least at higher level. the best thing about the new abilities system is: you can reset each one of them for FREE(except reset all cost credit). So switching style in the middle is completely fine. Anyway: All tank(HP,MP,SP) Better Mana Pots All One handed All Heavy armor (you want tank right?) Better Cure, regen, haste, protect, shadow veil... (anything in supportive that you use) Spike shield of your choice If you lack AP train them. This post has been edited by kumosu: Oct 26 2014, 19:40

the list of usable skills is that two-column thing, while below in all those subcategories there are the one you can choose from. here in wiki you can find some suggestions. the stun + block would undoubtly be 1H, but you won't see it so effective until you hit at least 100 prof QUOTE(kumosu @ Oct 26 2014, 17:12) the best thing about the new abilities system is: you can reset each one of them for FREE(except reset all cost credit). too soon for him to go 1H imo. i think that at his level mace + leather may do better, but if he wants to try that other combo too, well, his decision. also, a FTFY This post has been edited by Scremaz: Oct 26 2014, 17:19

yes, but you'd better to adapt them to your specific build: cure, regen, haste and protection are must for eeryone, while shadow veil is useless (if not somewhat dangerous) if you are 1H. heartseeker is a nice boost in firepower, but too MP-taxing to cast it outside of spirit stance and not-so-effective at low levels; spirit shield is quite useless before lv240/265... QUOTE(Toru Ikeda @ Oct 26 2014, 17:31) guysi notice the mastery point will help me unlock a skill slot...over time i can unlock all the slots right? or is the mastery point limited?
you could, but there's not so big of a need. also, slots cost raise after you'll unlock a certain number of them QUOTE(Toru Ikeda @ Oct 26 2014, 17:31) edit: do i need better hp pots aswell? or only mana? how bout spirit?
hp pots are needed only at low levels, when regen isn't very useful. when better regn ability will start to kick in, you'll rely on that rather on hp pots. still at low level (read: when you don't have spirit shield yet), spirit is used to mantain spirit stance and since you don't have access to long arenas i guess you won't need that ability for a while

You can get maximum 60 master points via "playing" (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) , but to unlock all need 66. Mastery points from Donation however is unlimited (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) QUOTE edit: do i need better hp pots aswell? or only mana? how bout spirit?
mana pots is needed for almost every situations, but health pots is good for high difficult RE too. I don't think you can used up all SP at your current Lv, so maybe put point on Spirit pot when you got the second page of arena

All go for protection then. no need to match the suffix, but protection is better than other. This post has been edited by Colman: Oct 26 2014, 18:48

Just FYI (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) - Protection : PMI (physical mitigation) - Warding : MMI (magical mitigation) - Dampening : Crushing specific mitigation - Stoneskin : Slashing specific mitigation - Deflection : Piercing specific mitigation This post has been edited by Cats Lover: Oct 26 2014, 19:15

peerless sword chucks? flimsy prefixed? come on... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE(Toru Ikeda @ Oct 26 2014, 19:26) wat does obsolute ean? cannot be used? and how to know if obsolete item?
they cannot drop anymore, but they can still be used. sometimes they are even better than new pieces, sometimes they lose their strong points because some stats were absorbed into others... here's a list of what can be considered obsolete This post has been edited by Scremaz: Oct 26 2014, 19:31

QUOTE(kumosu @ Oct 26 2014, 19:34) Any luck with your collection? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ... and you have another competitor (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) some nice pieces every now and then, but no sword chucks. however he has high budget but also strict requirements, i guess he won't be that much of a competitor (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE(kawaiikun @ Oct 26 2014, 19:38) Does that work for 1h too?
with some corrections: 1h doesn't use shadow veil, since evade would proc before block and then subtracting hits to counter chance/perma-spirit. also, SP potions are less or more useless once you gain spirit theft (and especially ragnarok spell) This post has been edited by Scremaz: Oct 26 2014, 19:43
