Power slaughter is currently the only piece of exquisite quality (with good rolls) that could break the 1m mark. I don't even want to imagine how much a Leg power slaughter could go for. Shade and Phase have become cheaper since the difference between different suffixes aren't nearly as large as power slaughter and other power.

You should do PFUDOR arena (which shouldn't be a problem at your level), I get ~300-500k from credit drops and bazaaring trashes alone, And it has the highest chance of getting decent drops

the fact is that to augment the ADB you still need a slaughter bindings, while for other stats you use (much) cheaper items: to start from an already high ADB has its advantages then... rest assured that actually in auctions there is also a phenomenon of collective hysteria and needs to burn a ton of credits just to say to have won an auction, which for a medium-level, low-credit player seems unacceptable (like i've said since a ten or so pages ago) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

i'd also need to know two things:
1) just unlocked IA1: which spell and why? i'd think about Protection, but many of you use Haste (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
2) don't see light or heavy armors with cloth suffixes (this, for example: Fine Leather Helmet of the Spirit-ward) drop anymore, are they also retired equips like Dragon Hide or Kevlar?

Haste or Shadow Veil because they are useful spell with low duration and high MP/turn ration

Without END......IMO, light armor missing any of STR/DEX/AGI/END are not useful. You can see how's LEG shade in the auction go.....

The order of Auto-casting spells via IA matters not at all. IN HV, the player always makes the first move. Take a look at the battle log on your next RE; 1st the mob is spawned, 2nd the spells in IA slots are activated, only then does the player makes his/her first move.

The order of casting spells manually is very important because each spell cast represents a move on the player's part and the mob will have the chance to respond (attack) after each spell cast.

I just went into the Settings menu and tried each one out to see which spells cost the most MP/turn and went with those.

I believe I have Spark of Life and Shadow Veil for IA1/2 for dual wield and Spark of Life/Spirit Shield for 1H+Heavy proficiency training as those are the most expensive ones and benefit the most from the mana upkeep bonus.

Sadly I can pretty much only do the first 5-6 Arena's on PFUDOR after Dawn of the Day without much issue using DW. The others I'm doing on Hell mode for face rolling while working on 1H+Heavy proficiency while not spending too much time doing them.

It's probably because I only use protective buffs and don't have deprecating spells (98 prof) as part of my rotation yet.

Also, junk? Exquisite Arctic Katalox Staff of Fenrir Would it have been worth something if it were Hallowed on top of the Divine and Holy rolls? Do mages care about Staves being Ethereal or is that just considered an added bonus on top?

Legendary Ethereal Estoc of Slaughter with legmax ADB = ~50 mil credits or so?
Cost of getting 5 butcher onto that ~ 700k? credits.
Supmax Helmet of slaughter(body and legs has more, shoes and gloves less) ADB: 21.23
Cost of that: around ~1mil credits, with average rolls elsewhere and all PABs.

ADB forges needed to get that much ADB by forging your best-ever estoc: 14.29 (at that many forges, STR or DEX forging isn't efficient to spend HGM on)
Estimated cost of that: 2808K (over 90% is slaugher binding price. Interestingly, slaughter price has dropped a lot, perhaps with hath? It was over 200k less than two weeks ago iirc - hence the value in my sig.)

In other words, the easiest course to increasing your ADB is through stacking on as many slaughter pieces as you can. Shade has about third the ADB bonus of power. Matching the bonus granted by power with Shade is possible with your LEES if you forge it enough. Matching ten times forged LEES with full power with your Shade+LEES is still possible, though you'd need over 50% WD increase. Matching even twenty times is still possible, but you'd need somewhere around 75 forges. Luckily as said before the HG mat cost is not particularly significant. Matching 30 times forged one? Not possible.

Well, that's without getting into that at that point you'd start forging the ADB on power, but still.

oh, good. so what i should rely on is actually what the ability page says... i was starting to think there could be some strange sort of cap...

IWBTH IW leg is facerollfest for me with full power slaughter (ie. < 10 use of cure). I can do even PFUDOR IW leg (not faceroll though) with 7-8 mana pot. So maybe you're not wearing full slaughter? Buffs is a major mana drain on 1H heavy, so you either need to kill as fast as possible, or lower your interference. For faster kill speed, always remember to use infusion, use power slaughter and use OFC. For lower interferece, use featherweight shards on your shield, armor, and leggings, though I only do it on SG run...

And I can't even do Hard IW for legendary items consistently...
