According to the wiki, with my current abilities I should have:

Haste: Action speed +50%
Shadow Veil: Evade +25%
Spirit Shield: Kick in at 25% damage
Protection: 30% Mitigation

What the procs in battle say I have is:

Haste: Action speed +25%
Shadow Veil: Evade +15%
Spirit Shield: Kick in at 50% damage
Protection: 25% Mitigation

Scrolls seem to work OK, and to be honest I can't really check regen/cure etc as I don't know the calculations.

Is the bug in the proc description or is there something weird going on with my abilities?

The former.

Its not so much as a bug but more like a feature.

It's not so much a feature as an inaccuracy. Anything that is functioning in a way it is not intended fits under the description of a bug. A feature would mean Tenboro wants to fuck with us some more. Instead he just hasn't found it worth his time to change that code.

Oh, I didn't realize that the scroll effects were (in some cases, significantly) stronger than the regular spell effects. I was kind of wondering what the point of them was before...

I kind of took the inaccurate in-battle descriptions for granted... I think the tooltips describe the spells without any ability points invested (and you can just see the additional effects on the Abilities screen). If there were inaccuracies other than that, I'd be a little more bothered.

Lol - it was only because of the different descriptions the scrolls had that I thought it may be a bug. When using scrolls of the gods & avatar I'm taking a fraction of the damage I do when battling just on IA spells. The spark buff from scrolls is so much stronger it doesn't make sense NOT to use it lol

Except in the case where you're dirt poor and using them in the long run would result in even more dirt poor-dom.

A lot depends on your drops I guess :/ if you want an easy 40k+ credits per day rent a VPS for $20 a year (look for offers, or somewhere like lowendbox.com ) and install H@H on it. All you need is 1TB+ Bandwidth 10GB+ Drive (less isn't worth it), 128mb Ram (although I do have it running on one with 64mb lol). There are easy to follow instructions on the wiki somewhere - the bonus is twofold! 1) No longer dirt poor, just poor (XD) and 2) You're helping spread the hentai!

Ah, but there's my problem. If I could own my own bandwidth I'd gladly H@H all day. Unfortunately I don't even have that so I help spread hentai in the next best way: seeding torrents for days on end when I'm home. I only get GP instead of hath for it, but we all do our own little part as best we can I guess.
