Estoc + Kevlar works too. But I think it's not as safe as +Plate or as speedy as +Power ... Not that I've try it with power armor yet... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) The beauty about Heavy is that you can shard'ed them very easily for a big profit and lulz. The same can't be said for Light.

QUOTE(varst @ May 24 2012, 12:14) This. Note that it hasn't been updated for a long time though. Alternatively, put all the parameters into excel. http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Training#CostsExcept the fact that they have different sources, they work pretty much the same way as you've described. Thanks varst (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Does HV have a tier list for armor, weapons, spells and spell combinations? You know just a basic list of what is best down to what is useless or inefficient compared to other builds or gear. I assume next to anything is viable in HV if you wanted to do it really. But I'm more leaning towards a list that lists best to worst. Gear ranking would probably change due to what level range you're in but just interested in knowing if there is one.

General advice on HV. As for a tier list, haven't seen one besides the advice given on this thread.

No, we dont have the list, for the obvious reason: you can never know when a particular equipment/spell sucks or made handsome by next patch change

So in every update something gets nerfed or buffed? Average time between patches?

Take Scythe for example, before the patch, it was the second-most favorite weapon choice, after Mace. This patch's nerf to bleed and 2hand skill change rendered scythe behind Estoc and Club+Rapier Before the patch, Ox and Turtle generally are sold to bazaar, but this patch made them semi-godly by making up of your 70% mitigation, not to mention the huge HP and damage bonus came with them Few patches ago, Focus staff was also bazaar bait, until mana conservation got introduced. So we dont know what to keep and what to throw away until the patch changes. Though Specific Mitigation suffixes such as Thunder-Child and Stoneskin are absolute bazaar baits, maybe Battlecaster too You will have to relearn the value of suffixes again whenever Tenb felt like to buff/nerf something

I don't expect anything like that will be back soon. The last one ended poorly without proper update.

QUOTE(coffeecoffee @ May 25 2012, 12:12) Hello everyone,
would like to request advice and comments on my current build...
PS: I can't get my Karma link in my signature working.. what am I doing wrong? ='(
For karma link, use your name ID instead of your name. Your is 990869. Equipment: no particular problem, you should try to use a club of slaughter in mainhand though. Also, try to use 2-handed weapons when you progress. Estoc/mace is the better option now. This post has been edited by varst: May 25 2012, 06:20

Thanks! fixed my karma link! :DDDD Karma+ for you sir
Yeah, I've considered using clubs but the dmg gain vs the loss of crit and parry is too much of a hit for me. The best club I've seen only gives me 35 more dmg now and 150 by the time I reach it's level cap.
Regarding 2hand weapons, can you elaborate why they are better than dual wield??? I don't understand how much minimal damage gain outweighs the parry, higher crit...

DW is useful for fighting in the RoB, but Arena, IW, Cryfest, and Grindfest a 2H weapon would be best suited.
Anyway to speed up Forbidden prof. and Staff prof. quickly (not Assimilator training)? Using a Focus staff with Owl equipment speeds up Deprecating prof. really quickly though.

2Hand weapons proc Domino Strike, which can hit multiple monsters at once. Faster clearing speed means less monsters hitting you and quicker the rounds end. The game is basically kill them before they touch you

.... omg ... it can proc multi hits? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) if only I knew sooner T.T Well, I'm off to saving up for a decent 2h weapon now. . . ~Coffee Edit: Wait.. does that mean when a mace w/ vamp procs multi hit.. it can ALSO stun multi enemies AND siphon hp from multi mobs!?!?!? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Obviously not, otherwise that would be overpowered. Only the primary target receive the vampire/banshee/illithid effect, but stun/PA/bleed proc can pass on to multiple targets

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) There are weapons that can drain HP, MP, or SP. Suffixes are Vampire, Illithid, and Banshee respectively. Only the target selected will suffer from the draining effect. This post has been edited by rpgman1: May 25 2012, 06:44

Club gives stun proc, which not only stops monsters' action for a few turns, but also let you deal 25% more damage. As for training and abilities, you can check the wiki for further information. There isn't any serious problems now, but when you progress you may refer to it for prof. training/training priority/etc. QUOTE(rpgman1 @ May 25 2012, 12:24) Anyway to speed up Forbidden prof. and Staff prof. quickly (not Assimilator training)? The best way to raise offensive spells prof is always casting them more often. This post has been edited by varst: May 25 2012, 06:50
