I have the weakness to think this kind of answer is not helpful nor agreable. Hopefully Maximum_Joe did more efforts. Thread first post could use the wiki link. This post has been edited by La_Mangouste: Jan 18 2012, 00:37

It's perfectly helpful. In fact it's more helpful than spoon-feeding the answer. The wiki is there for a reason. Not using is total disrespect for the people that put in there time for it. And a being totally lazy.

I'd rather help people that put their own effort in rather than go 'hey I don't know this I'm going to head straight to the "Ask the Expert thread" rather than do a 1 second search on the forum/wiki because they'll definitely not have what I'm looking for'

Hello! I just dinged level 50! It took a while, but I'm having fun with it. After smashing through Manbearpig, White Bunneh, Mithra, and Dalek in a series of hugely satisfying battles, I figured it was a good time to check in and make sure I'm on the right track. My stats at the moment: STR - 45 DEX - 45 AGI - 45 END - 46 INT - 45 WIS - 45 Equipment (Full plate and packing steel!): Fine Mace of SlaughterFine Chainmail Coif of ProtectionAverage Platinum Plate Cuirass of WardingAverage Steel Plate Gauntlets of the Stone-SkinnedAverage Steel Plate Greaves of the Stone-SkinnedAverage Steel Plate Sabatons of DampeningAbilities: 18/18 HP Tank 18/18 MP Tank 5/5 Weaken 5/5 Haste 5/5 Shadow Veil 1/1 Cure 1/1 Protection 3/3 Aura Slot 3/3 Item Slot 1/1 Infusion Slot 1/1 Scroll Slot 7/18 EXP Bonus --- At the moment, my plans are to continue keeping my stats balanced and to keep putting points into the EXP Bonus abilities. Now, the questions: 1. Should I be using different armor with the Mace, or should I be using a different weapon with the Heavy Armor? 2. Should I be saving ability points for something later down the line, or is sinking them in the EXP Bonus still a good call? 3. I want to keep training Ability Boost until I max the EXP Bonus; are there more beneficial things to train? 4. (Insert generic "Is my equipment all right?" question here.) 5. Should I save my newly-won artifacts for later, use them right now, or sell them? I was under the impression artifacts are worth more at higher levels, and I'm still at a spot where extra cash is always handy. --- Thank you very much! Part of the problem is that the wiki is barely linked to in an official capacity on the site, so a lot of people are unaware of its existence. Hell, just clicking on my ruby snowflake goes to a non-existent page rather than here!

I was wondering about the awards and redirecting me to a nonexistent page. Legendaries must be tough the first time in ROB. Saving my Blood Tokens for FSM, but I still need to get Spark of Life and Silence.

Hell, just clicking on my ruby snowflake goes to a non-existent page rather than here! It's true. But I never had a problem finding the Wiki. First thing I did when I got on this forum was I looked for forum rules. Saw sayo's post. Went to Wiki. Rest was history. In retrospect, I wish sayo edited his post in this forum section so that it didn't just link to the other one (before he took a hiatus) Edit: And I'm finding that some people that post here/HV system questions thread get their answers via Wiki link like what you've been doing (I'm assume it's to promote the use of the Wiki) but they *still* come back and ask Wiki level questions @rpgman Don't hurry to kill FSM. That arena clear bonus isn't going anywhere. If you *want* that challenge of killing him then go for it. But there's no advantage really in killing him now or killing him 2 weeks from now (unless you need the credits more now) This post has been edited by dcherry: Jan 18 2012, 01:15

We could ask Tenboro to edit the first post of this thread, add a link to the Wiki and have the post shown on every new page (I think the forums have this feature, them broads really be crafty). Though I seriously doubt he could be arsed.

Yes. I meant killing him at 100 or 2 weeks after he hits 100. Ooops. Yeah, if one doesn't wanna risk the tokens (though you just need to have a couple Scroll of Life and it's very doable even at lv.100) leveling up to 110 and getting Silence seems the safest road. Should take way less than 2 weeks to get there though (at least from lv.100)...

Agreed, that was one of the reasons I decided to ask here for advice. I tried to ask things that wouldn't be covered by the wiki, sorry if I asked something dumb.

Feel free to do whatever to that page. You can also forward stuff to me and I can put it in.
