a high amount, yep. but if a single level had to appear at the end, i wouldn't bother reforge it.

One reason to finish the IW of a staff: having a cool name for it.
And it's mandatory to be cool.

Would FatButt (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) be the go-to potencies? Or Swift Strike + Fat/But to Stun them all faster?

depends. if you want to clear arenas, overpower is unnecessary. if you want to clear PFfest, getting chain-parried is the main source of serious incoming damage and i would definitely prefer to have some overpower

swift strike isn't necessary for arenas either, but really helps in IWs and fests

Spirit shield kicks in first, so you do get a lot of SP damage if spirit shield kicks in before you get sparked anyway.

Reinforced and it's not even close.

Mithril reduces burden by 0.7, literally nothing. And even then you can buy a featherweight shards for 110C which will have a greater effect.
You can literally featherweight it for 1 whole year with less than 1M.
(I'm also not convinced that reducing burden helps that much, in the end you still get less counter-attacks)

Agile only works for melee attacks so it's not useful for 1h mage.

Attack speed is only about physical attacks, so i'd say Reinforced or Mithril.

Noob here with some noob questions.

1. I got my first Chaos Token drop today so I used it to unlock a monster slot in the lab. I don't think I have enough stuff to get the monster to level 25 so I can't name it or anything. Can it still give me the one pity gift every 72 hours, or do I have to get it to 25 first?

2. I saw someone mention in another thread about putting spells/skills on the quickbar on the battle screen. How do I do that?

3. At this point there's no reason for me to do any battles besides the arena of blood and the 30-minute cooldown random encounters, correct?

4. For stats at low levels the FAQ just says to keep them relatively balanced except for INT. I'm 1h/shielding with heavy armor and no real mana issues yet, so I'm currently at:

• STR: 45
• DEX: 40
• AGI: 35
• END: 40
• INT: 2
• WIS: 20

Does that look fine and/or is there anything else I should know about stats this early on?

Who told you this? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Whoever it was he lied. With level 41 you can do allready 5 Arenas. And when you have done them, you could do a few rounds of grindfest and run away when you think it gets to hard, just for the sake of some XP to level up and unlock more arenas.

At your level this doesnt matter that much. Also you can allways change them later. So dont worry too much about them. But yeah, looks fine now. Just i personaly prefer it to have DEX higher as STR.

It's a web game on dmm.com (dmm.com/netgame/feature/kancolle.html). It's about naval combat starring a bunch of WW2 ships represented by cute girls. No adult content, but it has a multitude of female characters and seems to have caught the imaginations of a large community of doujin artists just as Touhou did.

BTW i just did notice my first answer can be missunderstand. So i will clarify my anser. Without a name, no gifts. But with a few arenas you should get you first monster quite quick above PL 25. But dont expect it to increase your income that much. So, keep creating all the monsters you can and dont invest to much tokens to upgrade your monster. A few tokens into Scavenging for each monster dont hurt , but first your priority should be to create as mucb slots as you can. More monster means higher chance to get something valuable from them like a Phazon or a BoS.
