so im just getting back from a loooooooooooooonnnnnnggggggggg break, can anybody explain how your supposed to to mage again? i previously played a holy/dark mage, but these cooldowns are forcing me to use the shit basic spells.

are you required to use all six elementsor play conservatively with your higher spells?

also is there any weapon/armor abilities not worth a red slot?

Focus on a unique element and boost it with phase of the corresponding type. Also, have a staff with a prefix and suffix matching that element as well. Use one or two proficiency gear (elementalist, heaven-sent or demon-fiend depending on your element) to increase your counter-resist. Use Imperil if you don't use Holy or Dark (Faster Imperil maxes out at lvl 310 for 3 targets per cast).

As for ability slots, don't use Staff Damage.

I vaguely remember seeing a calculator for how equipments' stats would scale when soulbinding.

So whenever I "play" hv on chrome, chrome starts crashing after like 20 round of battle, anyway to fix this other than installing another browser (or re-installing, as I've already done).

- When you buy equipment from the equipment shop, it will now be made untradeable. This is to prevent people from bot-buying equipment for resale.

Yet another thing we can all blame on a small handfull of botters for screwing it up for the vast majority of us.

2. What would reforge do to a Mag level 500 item?

1. a- Maybe so that you can soulfuse cool legendary equipment with level +100 of your current, cos more high the level - more probability of good equipment (high trophy tiers = high-level arena + difficulty)
b - and maybe so when you will be low on low-grade metals, you can buy superior equipment with lesser level cheaper (sometimes price at the item shop bot is unreasonable)

2. WUT? level for reforge is max 10 . It's a potency equipment level you obtain at the Item World.
Maybe I dont understand what you mean?

Stats except for damage are significantly below the minimum range on the wiki page.
Was there an update at some point that made old equipment become junk compared to newer stuff?

I can't see your mace (wrong link), but patch 0.82 happened May 17, 2015.

There were lots of changes. Some highlights:

[The system also increases the fidelity of base stats, which means that it will be very difficult to roll, for example, "legendary max" on several stats.
The ranges are however generally slightly higher than the old ones, to prevent the "pre-nerf gear" syndrome.]

[Note that because of changes to both the generation process and the lower bounds of gear stat ranges,
there can be some quite large differences between old and new gear, especially below the highest tiers.]

So not all old gear is junk. The new stuff generally has fewer PABs at Exquisite and lower; but many of the new PABs are better.
And the old stuff is of course level unassigned until equipped, so may be more salable.

It was 3 PAB, but all stats seems to be Superior range despite being a Magnificent item. Not sure how I should react now, really.......
