I will only use up 1 lesser health potion?
If you don't have anything that increases your health besides your stats, then yes, a single lesser health potion will fill you up.
But if you are lvl 250+ and have filled out all the HP tanks (you should) then you get a 162% bonus to health, for a total of 262% health. Suddenly, a lesser potion that gives 120% health is not going to fill you up, even two won't fill you from dead to max health.
Then add in white aura (hath perk) for another 10%, which is multiplied with the hp tanks for a total of 288% bonus to base health.
So with all that, it takes 3 lesser health potions to fill you up. 2 of them give 240% and then the third to top it off.
It gets really bothersome if you have used up all your lesser and average potions, since a greater potions heals for 260%, so you still use up one extra for for those remaining 22%.
In other words, don't use lesser and average potions, just stock up on them.
And that goes for health potions especially, since you don't really use them that much later on, since a single mana potion is enough to cast multiple healing spells for a much higher efficiency in health gained per potion.
I basically only carry a single health potion, to be used in emergency when that initial heal from it will save me from death when I am out of mana and I risk dying from the next blow so no time to use a mana potion and then heal afterwards.
Mana potions is where the real value is, and those are a lot less effective, an average one only heals for 50%, and base mana and total mana works the same way, but with black aura and mp tanks, also for a total of 288%.
Not quite sure what a lesser heals for, since I've used all those, and I'm going through the average ones now, since it takes 6 of them to fill me up from having no mana.
