QUOTE(derpymal @ Dec 31 2011, 01:08) Its supposed to be, but its probably the same situation as with the old Spirit Attack -- it adds an insignificant amount.
Okay, so for the time being I'll just use the skill each time I have enough charge.

It seemed like the skill did more damage with higher overcharge. Didn't test it out too much tho. As for you, try testing out the spirit mode. While it will not clear a room of mosnters in one hit, it will clear rooms twice as fast as without it, and it will last for several rooms. So clearing one room in two hits or clearing two rooms as fast as one should balance out. And if spirit mode lasts more than two rooms (which it usually does) then you're doing it faster that way than with the skill. At the cost of spirit points. Keep in mind, you do still gain overcharge from hitting things while in spirit mode, so it lasts longer than it takes to charge it up.

Is there a formula you guys use to sell equipment? I've found some pretty good stuff that probably won't be able to use (it's a staff that would sell at the Bazaar for 1,338) but I have no idea what to sell it for. I'm actually pretty bad at gauging equipment so some sort of formula (120% what you'd sell it to the Bazaar for, etc.) would be super useful. I know there's no set rule, but does anyone have a personal rule of thumb?

5 time what the bazaar gives me is what I do. The bazaar resales the equipment at 10 time so people buying from me still save money.

I did try spirit mode, but I really need those spirit points for Spirit Shield in IWBTH mode. It was dropping uncomfortably fast even after only a couple times of doing spirit mode. At least the weapon skills are "free" to use.

Hi, is there some way to train up staff proc easily? It seems much more slower than 1-hand or 2-hand, and since the dmg is so low, you die much sooner without training much.

You can train your staff prof by playing in crude IWs at easy difficulty. You don't need to smack those monsters; staff prof. can also be gained from casting magic missiles.
The reason why you found it to be more difficult to raise staff prof. than one-handed/two-handed is because the chance you gain prof. diminishes when it's close to your level.
My advice is that you should train your staff prof. when you have high levels. At your level the benefits from leveling simply outweighs the benefits from spending time on prof. grinding. Not to mention you will have the chance to train your staff prof. at later areans, when you need mana from ether theft in order to finish them.

Ah, thanks for that, I didn't know about the MM part.
My staff proc is actually around 15 and badly lagging behind the others of 50, but even so, it's very noticably slower when I train it vs others? Or using MM is faster than melee?
Will do, I guess I'll just level up first before trying mage again, 2-handers are now the easiest for me since the new change.

I think it should be fine, but what do you mean it won't let you finish putting in the skill? The Save Skills button remains highlighted even after you've saved your skill if that's the issue. Also: How do you guys make the links to show just the one piece of equipment? I'd like to open a shop soon and this skill seems pretty necessary (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) This post has been edited by Mr. Plow: Jan 4 2012, 10:57

There is also a Greasemonkey add-on Equipment shop helper which is quite helpful for shop setup

Your goal should be to get all of them eventually. EXP-wise, Black is more cost-efficient, so you might want to go for it first to speed things up. (Unlock arenas faster, more potential daily credits/Hath.) This post has been edited by Mika Kurogane: Jan 5 2012, 15:28

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) You need to obtain more crystals to level up your monster, the amount of crystals needed increases as you go. Either get more credits to buy from shop, buy from players or hunt them from crystal fest (crysfest) edit : I was reading this topic, saw Mr plow's question about selling items/equips, and someone replied 5x from bazaar. Does that mean (example) : Level xxx fair axe of slaughter : sell price 134 (x 5 = 670)? This post has been edited by Naughty Boy: Jan 6 2012, 08:38

They're talking about two different things Example:
Selling Price (to bazaar): 1000 Buying Price (from bazaar) : 1000*10=10,000 Selling Price (to other players through WTS) : 1000*5 = 5000
Of course, selling price through WTS is just a suggested multiplier. You can set any price you like.
