Hey, I'm new to HV, so I've got a few questions.

Is it possible to go through the game as a pure warrior? Like is there ever a point where magic has a heavy, unbalancing advantage over melee?

I've found I mainly end up training in item worlds on high difficulties and arenas. I'm not level 20 yet, so I don't know what montages are. Is this basically the best way for me to get EXP? I've literally been buying items at times just to powerlevel through them in the item world when I run out of arenas and equips to level. Doing grindfest seems horribly slow. On low difficulties(up to 1x), it's boring, has minimal challenge, and gives poor rewards. But on 2x, I get my ass handed to me after several dozen rounds and don't get much better of rewards.

Last question. Can I use this general stat distribution that I've been using? I only use cure and attack.

Yes, cmal's over level 200 and he's a warrior.

It is pretty boring. Posting will help you level faster (forums = double xp). So will donations, which gets you stars, and making the site's toplist. All those multipliers add up.
Montage raises proficiency, which makes you stronger.

Seems okay. Get end as high as possible (over str and dex), and some intelligence is needed. It also increases mp (and the cost is very low if you lag it behind the rest of your stats).

And thanks for the help. I'll work on getting my endurance up for now. I'll also look into possibly getting some new equipment being that I need things to level through anyway.

First, I doubt I posted any good equips in my shop. I meant buy items from me (I assume you were buying them from bazaar).
Agi doesn't need to be that high. Especially at your level, if you keep end high and absorption high, it doesn't matter how many times they hit you; you'll always take 0 damage.

Ah, alright. I might also put an aura point into the end aura as it said in the wiki as well to help that. I mean, I can't really do much else with it.

Its possible, but Magic does have an advantage at higher levels. Mages can clear rounds faster and can go on practically indefinitely because the mage procs (Ether Theft, Coalesced Mana, and Channeling) pretty much make mages self-sustaining. Even as a warrior, you'll still want to use a little magic to support yourself, so don't ignore them. WIS not only raises your MP so you can cast more cures, it also slowly hacks away at your Interference which ultimately makes them more effective.

If you're grinding in IW, here's a tip: Don't finish it. Find the highest level, best quality item you can and go through it without clearing it. Flee on the very last round. That way, you can keep jumping in for your allotted 10 IW per day without having to wait for the 20-hour cooldown and using another item.

Yes and it's a little incorrect, posting within 24 hours gives you more % xp not double, in fact to see xp doubling, you'll need 100 posts per day to get +100%, plus you can't have any other xp bonus.
10 posts gives you +50%, the more you're post the less % you'll gain for each post, capping for 100 to get the full +100%. Does anyone use sonic's calculator , or is just me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Meant it caps at 100%. Thought it caps at around 20 posts. My exp is around twice the normal after 20 posts.

The wiki doesn't list it, but it looks like cockatrice is slightly resistant to lightning. It's been consistently surviving my attacks. Can someone confirm? Or is it due to high barrier rating?

Bad luck with low hit rolls, he's just not weak to elec, but considering what I observe, it's not more resistant to elec than Scary Ghost.
