You can't. Artifacts are just unique "items" that serve one purpose.
You can offer them to Snowflake in the shrine in exchange for 1 of 3 possible benefits.

+1 to a random stat (up to a max of 10)
+1 Ability point
+2-4 Hath

Don't sell it to the bazaar though. You can get a lot more from selling it to another player.

Yes, they have no use outside of the Shrine in the Bazaar menu, and they are always this [Color].
