style specific advice (§6.2): i'd say that all melee styles can benefit from OFC, with 1H being the one that benefits the most, rather than only 1H. plus, Shielding is a feature of Heavy armors, rather than 1H style.

leveling adjustments (§10): i'm not sure newbies would better use scrolls rather than selling them, any other opinion?

For abilities, we could put only first and second piorities in Advice and put the whole table in advanced.

Due to popular request here goes the WTS drama. In terms of the drama about the HV shops that is ongoing in the WTS, the stance of any moderation is oriented on the following story:

1. hc br mistakenly sent some items to qdjseh001.(worth around 371k)
2. hc br spotted the error and tried to remedy qdjseh001 by offering him 100k of free cash. qdjseh001 refused to give the items back.
3. hc br decided to ban qdjseh001 from his shop.
4. Effort by ST-Ru to help resolving this incident failed. qdjseh001 start claiming that everyone supporting hc br are 'Taiwanese gangsters' and ban people from his shop.

Therefore no action will or shall be taken by the moderation team since it's simply an user being an ass. We have those daily in the galleries.

And now, this is important: Anyone who disagrees with the outline of the story above is free to post and discuss it here. But the discussion is in English, posts in Chinese will be deleted and disconsidered. The reason for this (for all of this including the fact that no action will be taken upon it for now) is to prevent a precedence where the moderation team performed an action due to reports that were made in a language that was not English.

We (the mods) cannot deal with all possible languages, this is an inference based on the discussion between us (mods). The language of the forum and the website is English, and will remain at that. Extra; reporting minor issues to a mod in your preferred language (and being aware that the mod understand it) is fine. But issues involving several users need to be handled in English.

Feel free to add your interpretation/version of the story.

btw, i was told that a few other people tried to mediate, especially on that other thread. maybe ST was only the most exposed of them, but seems more than just him.

personally i think that banlists which are too long and/or include certain well-known users (especially without a proper explanation) tend to be more dangerous for the shoprunner than those other involved.
he's not breaking any rules and at the same time he's shooting on his own feet. his call.

alright, a few things aren't going very smoothly. needind help with Advanced Strategies of Getting Started topic and Script Compendium.
as for the latter, the topic to assemble it is still open, but it will eventually be used only as a way for coders to signal updates and final releases. i'd prefer for it (the compendium) to be moved to Script and tools page on wiki. eventually including non strictly HV-related scripts as well.

The first topic has a lot of overlap with the advice advanced. I would prefer a link to the advice advanced page for all those subjects you listed. Then if any of them need further work, like IW strategies, I can make the changes in the wiki if you want. Gladly do that.
