seems like me (Scremaz) and DJNoni have been appointed Junior Mods of HentaiVerse section: this means HentaiVerse Chat (and included WTS/WTB) and HentaiVerse System Discussion. guess this also makes varst Senior Mod, whenever he should return. but that's a whole other story.

as such, we can now delete posts, move threads, merge topics, and other things that mods can do. our powers are limited to the mentioned sections though. we are new to these things, but we'll try our best here.

in order to help us and to be as impartial as possible, i thought about opening this topic to speak about important matters and let us know what's up. if a certain degree of moderation (ie: a quarrel between users that went on in public for too long, sort of flamewar, necroposting...) or explanations about certain matter(s) are needed, feel free to post here. another way is to use the "Report" button, which will allow you to send anonymous reports.
on the other hand, if it's something that can be arranged between users and nodoby should be interested about it, i encourage you to speak between yourselves via PM in order to solve it with as little heat for the community as possible.

• how to deal with script material
• addressing Ask the Experts status
• updating HV FAQ and Advice page on wiki, to resemble some quick guides for beginners (eventually with plots and such)
• reducing spam on HV section: people are encouraged guys to have fun, laugh and such, but don't open too much spam threads please. we'll let a few permanently opened though.
• reducing the amount of off-topic: suggestions on ask the experts, generic things on accomplishments, discussion about builds on ponyverse...

no. i just tried to pin this one and it didn't work. you have to call a global mod for this.

Actually I think it would be more helpful to create a new thread inspired by the old Compendium, there no need to link 5875498598 scripts where more than half cannot be used.
What's the point? New users don't care.
A slimmer compendium would be much more useful, old one can still be linked.

yep. it will be one more person able to work on it, since the topic starter would be f4tal, who is a bit afk currently. depending on this, said 3rd user may simply open a whole new thread.

We can, so someone could take the current f4tal posts code and modify those, then we could update the old thread while giving credits to f4tal and the new guy, or he could directly make a new thread while giving f4tal credit too, or we could just make a new slimmer compendium and set aside the old compendium.

There are quite some reloaders, but most have quite some differences, so it would be difficult to merge them.
There are:
- Reloader 1.1.1 (Vanilla)
- Reloader 1.3.3b (Sapo's)
- Reloader 1.3.3b chrome (Sapo's with swapped NoBlinking (put in Tatarime's) by me for making it work on chrome)
- Reloader 1.4_beta (Sapo's, fully refactored, lots of changes)
- Reloader 1.3.5d (Mine, lot of changes to MouseMelee from 1.3.3b chrome)

Jokes aside. That's a very good first step. As far as I understand, you won't be able to do much, so I think that you're seeing things a bit too big for the moment. If you cannot pin, can you lock threads? You see, there are a few things around here that have been... around for too long now. *gets erased* (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

As for what should be done now... yes I agree with the compendium being remade entirely, with something light that does contain links to the main scripts in the first post. Let's get rid of all the things that don't work and became entirely useless. I bet that the really useful scripts can be counted on both hands.
