Well this last hourly I lost because of a crit from a monster. It was more my fault though. There was about three out of nine monsters left with a little less than half HP and I thought, "I got this" then BAM! Headshot!
I thought light builds were good for the avoidance? Though I don't notice monsters missing that much more I guess. It does consume far less MP than my heavy though.
I'm hoping to eventually get a few ethereal weapons I can level to 10 potency. I like the idea of a weapon with zero Burden/Interference that does void damage AND an elemental strike. I only have about 5 void shards, but I got plenty of Infusions. Makes more sense to me.
Yes you can donate again. And yes, PM the one for information.
If you really can't get accustomed to post-200 battles, try to use heavy and notice which monsters hit you the hardest. Monsters get anti-evade with chaos tokens but not anti-mitigation.
Mana consumption is nothing if you can't survive. There's still no victory if you're killed by the last monster.
Also, choose a good combination of weapon/armors.
You won't use (that much) vampire/banshee weapons as illithid is more efficeint in terms of cure/supportive spells.
You won't use scythe with light as it will slow down bleeding and there's no effective way to protect yourself. You may want to use scythe of slaughter on normal difficulty as everything takes a few hits to kill without PA.
You should try ethereal mace with light as it effectively gives you protection through action speed. You don't want to use non-ethereal ones as giants are resistant towards crushing attacks. Rending blow is good as it procs every monster with PA.
You should try estoc with heavy, as you can tank the damage and have good killing speed at the same time. Non-ethereal ones can also be used. Great Cleave should be quite efficient in killing monsters since it won't miss, won't be evaded and won't be parried.
For heavy, try to mix plate of protection with power of slaughter, or use power of protection. Try till you find a good balance between killing speed and protection.
