QUOTE(GaryMcNabb @ Aug 5 2012, 08:27) Fixed. It'll be in the next release.
BTW, I hope everyone's throwing karma at greentea039. He's doing a shitload of behind the scenes work and has fixed a ton of bugs. Done. ;p Restarting Firefox seems to fix my problems, at least most recently. Anyway, when it's being erratic, and only showing stuff like the scan and wrench buttons but not the saved monster stats (even for basic monsters) scanning just makes it vanish, and it of course doesn't save the scan results. I know you want this to ultimately not matter, but perhaps it should check to see if it went through every round's turn results whenever it could update scan results (or text colors if you wanted), before it would look up the results to show for the round, of course. It's pretty annoying scanning the same monster over and over but only succeeding in stunning HV Stat yet again. Alternatively I'd like the ability to paste scan results into somewhere in HV Stat and have them recorded, or best yet a shared server for scan results (I know Tenboro probably wouldn't allow this, but if you could do it you could for example disregard scans made while the enemy is imperiled (do you record these without compensating right now?), or better yet use them to improve the accuracy of scan results in conjunction with normal scan results, and just make it so that everyone had to scan 0.1 or 0.01 or however many monsters per round it would take to collectively keep things pretty current (it could also force new scans (if you wanted the info, of course) whenever a monster that has no or out of date information appeared), resulting in a great situation for everyone; I currently scan every monster I can get HV Stat to record (unless I'm getting desperate to win), but I still mostly run into unscanned monsters). EDIT: Sigh, it's already awful again, and all I changed in settings was my HP alert message for 56% HP... <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <title>The HentaiVerse</title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://hentaiverse.org/s/069a.css" /> <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" /> <link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="http://ehgt.org/v/favicon.png" /> </head> <body style="text-align:center"> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://hentaiverse.org/s/070ac.js"></script> I've pasted some of these short ones before, but is there really nothing obviously wrong in them? oohay, currently, we have no clue of the bug. Please try this to help us. Step - Remove your HVSTAT, then install
HVSTAT 5.4.1.4 [DEBUG]. - Add "http://hentaiverse.org/" to your bookmark.
- Start HV from the bookmark.
- If you encounter the bug, perform the following operations.
- Start Firebug from the menu of Firefox.
 - Reload the page.
 - Select all of the text displayed on the console, then copy to the clipboard.
 - Paste the copied text here.

I edited my last post earlier. I'm having difficulty following your steps because your e-hentai.org "image host" is VERY uncooperative. Firebug is repeatedly calling your three images "corrupt or truncated", and even pasting the links gives "The image "{URL}" cannot be displayed because it contains errors. If you tell me what to click on I can do it, and I saw them at some point in the past, but they weirded out, and I can't get them to load anymore. Here's what's in All under Console in Firebug for the broken-scripted http://hentaiverse.org/ page (under 5.4.1.4 [DEBUG] (although it only shows up as 5.4.1.4 under about:addons/User Scripts): start of script main: start main: 1 main: 2 main: 3 main: 4 main: 5 main: 6 main: 7 main: 8 main: 9 main: 10 showMonsterStats: start showMonsterStats: 1 showMonsterStats: 2 showMonsterStats: 3 showMonsterStats: 4 showMonsterStats: 5 showMonsterStats: 6 showMonsterStats: 7 showMonsterStats: 8 showMonsterStats: 9 showMonsterStats: 10 showMonsterStats: 11 showMonsterStats: 12 showMonsterStats: 13 showMonsterStats: 14 showMonsterStats: 15 showMonsterStats: 16 showMonsterStats: 17 showMonsterStats: 18 showMonsterStats: 19 showMonsterStats: 20 showMonsterStats: 23 showMonsterStats: 30 showMonsterStats: 31 showMonsterStats: 32 showMonsterStats: 33 showMonsterStats: 34 showMonsterStats: 35 showMonsterStats: 36 showMonsterStats: 37 showMonsterStats: 38 showMonsterStats: 39 showMonsterStats: 40 showMonsterStats: 41 showMonsterStats: 42 showMonsterStats: 43 showMonsterStats: 44 showMonsterStats: 45 showMonsterStats: 46 showMonsterStats: 47 showMonsterStats: 48 showMonsterStats: 49 showMonsterStats: 50 showMonsterStats: 51 showMonsterStats: 52 showMonsterStats: 53 showMonsterStats: 54 showMonsterStats: 55 showMonsterStats: 56 showMonsterStats: 62 showMonsterStats: 63 showMonsterStats: 64 showMonsterStats: 65 showMonsterStats: 66 showMonsterStats: 2 showMonsterStats: 3 showMonsterStats: 4 showMonsterStats: 5 showMonsterStats: 6 showMonsterStats: 7 showMonsterStats: 8 showMonsterStats: 9 showMonsterStats: 10 showMonsterStats: 11 showMonsterStats: 12 showMonsterStats: 13 showMonsterStats: 14 showMonsterStats: 15 showMonsterStats: 16 showMonsterStats: 17 showMonsterStats: 18 showMonsterStats: 19 showMonsterStats: 32 showMonsterStats: 33 showMonsterStats: 34 showMonsterStats: 35 showMonsterStats: 36 showMonsterStats: 37 showMonsterStats: 38 showMonsterStats: 39 showMonsterStats: 40 showMonsterStats: 41 showMonsterStats: 42 showMonsterStats: 43 showMonsterStats: 44 showMonsterStats: 45 showMonsterStats: 46 showMonsterStats: 47 showMonsterStats: 48 showMonsterStats: 49 showMonsterStats: 50 showMonsterStats: 51 showMonsterStats: 52 showMonsterStats: 53 showMonsterStats: 54 showMonsterStats: 55 showMonsterStats: 56 showMonsterStats: 62 showMonsterStats: 63 showMonsterStats: 64 showMonsterStats: 65 showMonsterStats: 66 showMonsterStats: 2 showMonsterStats: 3 showMonsterStats: 4 showMonsterStats: 5 showMonsterStats: 6 showMonsterStats: 7 showMonsterStats: 8 showMonsterStats: 9 showMonsterStats: 10 showMonsterStats: 11 showMonsterStats: 12 showMonsterStats: 13 showMonsterStats: 14 showMonsterStats: 15 showMonsterStats: 16 showMonsterStats: 17 showMonsterStats: 18 showMonsterStats: 19 showMonsterStats: 32 showMonsterStats: 33 showMonsterStats: 34 showMonsterStats: 35 showMonsterStats: 36 showMonsterStats: 37 showMonsterStats: 38 showMonsterStats: 39 showMonsterStats: 40 showMonsterStats: 41 showMonsterStats: 42 showMonsterStats: 43 showMonsterStats: 44 showMonsterStats: 45 showMonsterStats: 46 showMonsterStats: 47 showMonsterStats: 48 showMonsterStats: 49 showMonsterStats: 50 showMonsterStats: 51 showMonsterStats: 52 showMonsterStats: 53 showMonsterStats: 54 showMonsterStats: 55 showMonsterStats: 56 showMonsterStats: 62 showMonsterStats: 63 showMonsterStats: 64 showMonsterStats: 65 showMonsterStats: 66 showMonsterStats: 67 showMonsterStats: end main: 11 main: 14 main: 15 main: 16 main: 17 main: 18 main: end end of script It's showing [NEW] for monsters now, but the wrench button is gone... I advanced a turn and now the same place in Firebug just shows (while the script is adding nothing I can see): start of script main: start main: 1 main: 2 main: 3 EDIT: Okay, I edited stuff throughout my post. YET ANOTHER EDIT: Okay, it generally moves between what's basically those two (without much consistency, although scanning seems to always ruin things as much as possible; the first one is always different in various ways; I always see numbers being skipped, and often see it not starting at 1, and sometimes it starts a showMonsterStats: sequence but starts over again in the middle, including not at 1, etc.), and here's a third one: start of script main: start main: 1 main: 2 main: 3 main: 4 main: 5 main: 6 main: 7 main: 8 main: 9 main: 10 main: 11 main: 14 main: 15 main: 16 main: 17 main: 18 main: end end of script I've never seen the wrench button since I installed 5.4.1.4 [DEBUG]. This is a clue. Next, please try [ github.com] 5.4.1.4 [DEBUG2] in the same way. A little more detailed may be found.

I found that the wrench icon disappears when insufficient capacity of the local storage with Firefox. Try the following operation if the bug occurs. - Enter "about:config" in the location bar.
- Find "dom.storage.default_quota" option.
- Double click it.
- Enter 10240 or larger. (default value is 5120)
- Reload HV page.

For my case, I did so, checked and double checked it. It still behaves the same way. (Disappearing during battle, normal function outside of battle)

Thank you! I might venture to make a request also: Could you add hotkeys for Orbital Friendship Cannon and FUS RO DAH. Would eliminate my need for a hotkey script. Button might be a tad unnecessary as the majority lack this skills. I would suggest "/" and "*" on the numpad as hotkeys for OFC and FUS RO DAH. What would be perfect was a cooldown counter for OFC. The reason being its long cooldown of 50 turns which makes you forget I you can use it or not. Thank you all HV STAT developers for your hard work! The biggest issue, I feel, is the monolithic nature of HVStat. It's a massive chain of mods that run one after the other which means if one fails, the chain breaks.
If I can stop fucking around and get the framework finished, it would solve this, but my issue is where to start. I'm getting a bit frustrated with myself actually. I go to bed each night and come up with good ideas for hours but can't wrap my head around implementing them.
Nothing's worse than staring at a blank page.

I guess that the bug is related the local storage from oohay's posts. oohay, please try [ github.com] 5.4.1.4 [DEBUG3] in the same way. I'm sure that the cause of the bug will be identified by this. You may be better to post as a text file if the console log is long.

QUOTE(GaryMcNabb @ Aug 6 2012, 16:23) Might be an issue with beforeload, since it intercepts all images as they're loading. I'll find a workaround.
Thank you, it would be very nice. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QuickBar2_1.0.4.fix.zip ( 121.49k )
Number of downloads: 1854This script seems to change the appearance of HVSTAT UI, I am guessing through doing something with CSS. But I am clueless beyond that. EDIT: Once I visited abilities page it returned to looking normal. EDIT2: It blocks the powerup gem button from being left clicked on (it can still be triggered by using the button p) I suggest quickbar2 integrated into HVSTAT and be made compliant with the other features. HVSTAT 5.4.1.8 contains two regressions from 5.4.1.4 1. The Hentai Verse logo displays briefly before being removed rather then being prevented from loading outright. 2. The quickbar background color never turns blue (low mana) and will randomly turn red (low HP) regardless on whether you have high or low HP.
Quickbar2_1.0.5.zip ( 136.78k )
Number of downloads: 89I went ahead and replaces jquery, jqueryui, and jquerycss with those of HVSTAT and removed the keypress binding function (which was being combatible with HVSTAT) It solved the two compatibility issues I have seen with HVSTAT. after I upgraded to 5.4.1.4 the power up icon still works but you can't use the item by clicking the icon anymore.
