QUOTE(MirandaKerr @ Dec 5 2012, 15:47) may i request monster basic attack recorded without scanning? i think it will violate the rule. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'll try somehow. By the way, what does 'the rule' mean? QUOTE(lemonmerchant @ Dec 5 2012, 16:08) Warning System: -Battle Type: --Hourly encounters --Arena
I have both of those checked but I never get any kind of alerts. Shouldn't one be popping up at 12am UST for the arena, at least? Also, if I'm not on at 12am UST, and I sign in at like 1am UST, should I get an alert telling me arenas have reset (even though it's an hour late)?
Those options are merely sub options of Alert Message related to health of Alert Mode. I also was not able to understand the effects of them for a while beginning to use HVSTAT. This post has been edited by greentea039: Dec 6 2012, 05:00

Aha! mrttao had given me the impression that basic attacks ARE recorded without scanning. That was my misunderstanding, so there is no problem. In that case I humbly submit the same request as mirandakerr, and also encourage you to display skill damage types without a scan being necessary.

from wiki However, Any scripts used to automate or semi-automate gameplay beyond a single "action" is strictly forbidden. Offenders will be banned from HV. recording monster basic and skill damage type are easy i think(in terms of building the database). i probably just need an index, monster name(not null), basic attack(not null), skill attack(null), and the rest goes null too. i'm trying to make a standalone version of my request based on HVSTAT, but separating which one is needed or not already give me headache since i'm not one of you, the developer of HVSTAT. even if i do success, its either has many redundant line or takes a very longgggggg time. so, in order to preserve my health, its better for me to leave this to you. The warning system explicitly list each thing that it can warn you about and lets you enable/disable what you want to be warned about. Note that there is not a single mention of warning you of dawn of a new day or hourly encounters. It can alert you via a popup box in combat, to expiring buffs, debuffs, effects, low SP/MP/HP, and the triggering of spells that expire on activation. As well as colorize the quickbar based on your status (low HP/MP/etc) The battle type checkboxes select which battle types should have the warning system enabled. Anyways, you might want to try the following script: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showt...p;#entry2131633This post has been edited by mrttao: Dec 7 2012, 01:47

Recording data is not an action. Also, HVSTAT already records special attacks, that request is just extending it to all attacks

Also. I'm not sure if it was mentioned before, but... are we sure that the script gathers battle statistics correctly?

QUOTE(kserox @ Dec 15 2012, 04:35) Also. I'm not sure if it was mentioned before, but... are we sure that the script gathers battle statistics correctly? Indeed, it does not seem to be accurate. So far evading and parrying actions of monsters haven't being supported in Battle Stats. How should they be represented? Please make a suggestion.

Well, firstly, evades/parries should be subtracted from the [Accuracy] value. Nobody wants to see 100% Accuracy when in fact there were tons of misses, right? Especially now, with new [hit chance] system (when almost any player has it >100%) Maybe evade/parry should be mentioned in the separate values? Not sure how useful that will be. After all, if someone sees [Accuracy: 19/50 (38.0%)] it will be easy enough for him to deduct that [Evaded/Parried by monsters: 31/50(62.0%)] This post has been edited by kserox: Dec 16 2012, 11:29

I have a small request: I would like to move the show proficiencies mouse-over region to the top-right of the page instead of bottom-left because there isn't anything on the left side (my screen is 16:9 so there is a huge band of clear space there) and I don't like to have to scroll the page down to see my proficiencies after each page load.
I reckon this could be done by some small tweaking to the code but I'm not familiar with Java Script and web programming in general so I can't do it myself. May I get an instruction on how to get this done, as detailed as possible? Thanks in advance!

A small .css file readjusting on these pages is enough, if you want to know how just read w3schools on css positioning and right-click>inspect element to see what you want to move. Checking the original HV .css for preexisting rules on the positioning may help. To run it just put it in stylish in firefox or in chrome extension(developer mode for adding unpacked ones/packing) in chrome.

I couldn't get my CSS script to work (I'm still not sure about a CSS syntax...) so I ended up editing HV STAT directly. Thanks to w3schools, I finally know where to look. For the button itself, I changed the value of 'top' modifier, changed 'margin_right' to 'margin_left' and put in a different value as well. Same things for the popup box. Anyway, down here are what I've edited in the original script: (changes start from line 2847 of HV STAT 5.4.6) document.querySelector("div.stuffbox").scrollHeight - 31 => 5 margin-right:5px => margin-left:1204px rectObject.left + 145 + "px" => rectObject.left - 310 + "px" rectObject.top + 126 + "px" => rectObject.top + 40 + "px" That was quite a brute-force effort indeed... It seems the Highlight Quickcast has been broken after patch 0.72. It turns Red when i have 100% HP and set Red at 35%.

As others reported, there seems to be an issue in HP approximation when facing FSM.

Turn on the options 'Show Round Counter' and 'Show Powerup Box'. QUOTE(varst @ Dec 19 2012, 02:51) As others reported, there seems to be an issue in HP approximation when facing FSM.
I will investigate the issue. EDIT: I couldn't reproduce the issue on v5.4.8 with Chrome 23. What version are you using? This post has been edited by greentea039: Dec 19 2012, 02:48
