Not at all, it's just "shine" is a racial derogative for black people and diamonds in Africa are often used to fund or are the cause of wars.

So <nerd> Yusuke was technically never brought back to life. He has been dead the entire series. You can't bring someone back from the dead. They say so early in the series. Yuusuke is just an employee of Koenma, meaning he is somewhat an angel/heavenly worker rather than a human. Also, even then he came back of his own accord and from his own labour, and was thus not "brought" back. </nerd> Also dead people can die their hair.
