Fate/so on and so on was my favorite one, even though it got a little derivative.

This thread's burf-day was four days ago! Fast on this fact
And I have not played. Anything since Dark Souls, really nothing could compare to it. No grinders, or shooters, nor creed-ers.... I hope the second will be enough of a reason for me to pay for it.

I need to take a stab at Dark Souls again. I played very little ages ago, then got distracted by other things.

Mine was a similar case only I ragequitted the first time. The second time I had a close guide via Skype which was and is a complete fish on this game's hook and I have to mention I needed his encouragement to go through with it. Listening to people's stories about their experiences with the game without having a guide or a wiki or anything are fascinating, frightening and often quite funny.

Saw Pacific Rim with my friends yesterday. Dialogue fucking cheesy as hell, incredibly overwhelmingly cliche, predictable white-American-and-exotic-Asian-chick-do-better-than-everyone nonsense, etc.
But it had its fun moments, action was great and visuals were great too and I liked watching it in 3D so I guess I'm happy with it.

It was not a good movie. But at least it was entertaining and I guess that's all I ask for. Since movies aren't entertaining anymore for some reason.

All I cared about were giant robots punching monsters in the face. The rest of the movie was basically cheese. And I'm okay with that.

I just assumed that's all anybody cared about. That and GLaDOS.

That should be a safe assumption, but humanity always finds a way to disappoint. People who are critical of Pacific Rim for intellectual reasons are fuckheads who missed the point entirely. The movie wasn't made for grown-ups with their silly ideas about art and literary merit, it was made for eight-year-old boys with toyboxes full of robot and monster figures by an eight-year-old boy who watched robot cartoons and movies about dudes in rubber monster suits wrecking cardboard cities.

I bought Cave Story+.
I don't know if I like it. It's kind of annoying. But also very endearing and I can get down with that.

Abso-fucking-lutely no reason for Dark Souls to not be available for purchase by Steam in my region.

I could never get Portal's graphics and sound to both work right at the same time.

I had some performance issues with both Portal and its successor, but I expected as much from running it on a laptop I got circa 2008. Still managed to slog through to the end.

Christ. I wouldn't trust Portal to run adequately on a laptop I got eight months ago.
