I've decided to see how much of a discount I can get on a 3DS if I trade in a few games. Namely P4A, Lollipop Chainsaw and Overlord II. And maybe Disgaea 4 and Tales of Graces, since I'm getting Tales of Xillia and Disgaea D2.
I had to delete the game and re-install several times to get a decent magic stone monster roll. Got Iddun & Idunna but I don't use them much right now. Once I get more team slots I'mma use them with Undine.

Somehow, that sounds like a bad game mechanic. If an unlucky roll of the digital dice can permanently make the game less fun, that's a problem.
Hey, another wannabe game dev question: Do any of you remember Warioland 2? It was pretty simple action and puzzle platforming, and you could never die, only be slowed down or knocked back a bit, and sometimes the ways enemies affect you could actually help you get past an obstacle. I kind of thought similar mechanics could be poignant if used in a little game about coping with depression. Think there'd be any interest in such a project?
It's a multiplayer game, and you get a Magic Stone every time you clear out a dungeon for the first time. Takes 5 Magic Stones to do a Rare Egg Machine roll.
For free players, a tactic is to play the tutorial, which gives you 5 Magic Stones and then roll to see what you get from the Rare Egg Machine. If it's good, you keep it and keep playing. If not, you delete and re-install the game, which lets you start over from the beginning. If it's okay or you're unsure, you clear out 5 dungeons (easy enough) to get another chance and see what you get on your second roll. If the second roll isn't that great as well, you start over.
