If that's the case, though, why not just say "Get it to me by Monday and it won't affect your grade"? The other way seems unnecessarily complicated.

One of my professors was old and he had a black belt in like three different martial arts and was working his way to a fourth. Though to be fair, he was Chinese so maybe he was really just middle-aged.

Anime has taught me that when Asian people grow old, they shrink dramatically. Women in particular; as soon as they hit menopause, they retract to about 2 feet tall. Is this in any way accurate?

Anime has taught me that when Asian people grow old, they shrink dramatically. Women in particular; as soon as they hit menopause, they retract to about 2 feet tall. Is this in any way accurate?

I think it has to do with the fact that women usually lose calcium when they hit menopause and are prone to shrinking. The fact Asian women are usually fairly small to begin with doesn't help either.
