I think I have some bizarre form of elitism. If I see a cool video or other thing online with only a few hits I'll sometimes think "This deserves more views", then later when it DOES get more views and a 'fanbase' I get all butthurt and think "Fuck all these bandwagoning faggots"

Salary is 20k/mo at 49 hr/wk. I do get a free apartment w/ utilities and health benefits and a free flight home once per year. I'll be on a 3-month probation period, so I might end up getting sent back here if I don't fit in.

Also, I wish they would sell one of those for iPad. iPad hardware is sweet, but iOS is an unprofessional ball of cunnilingus. Seriously, at my last job I had to design an interface for a mobile system, and it blew the iOS design out of the water. And if I can do it ALONE, Apple sure as well should be able to supersede it with their team of five billion ball gobblers. Really, time to update your shitty-ass graphics Apple.

From what I've read, it seems like a standard expat package for skilled professionals. The pay is pretty average according to the salary data from IEEE's employment survey, so its not like I'll be living paycheck to paycheck. And since I'm single, I can basically stick it all in my savings. "My" place is in Tsim Sha Tsui, which is supposed to be a tourist hub or something.

My uncle has a contact in Apple's legal department. He said that if I got my patent agent certificate, I could have a job there. I said LOLno. True story.

My friend worked there before joining my current company (WHICH IS A SECRET. MY COMPANY IS A SECRET). He doesn't look back. Said working there was a nightmare and everyone there was an Apple fanboy zombie - overworked, underpaid, and really unimaginative. Shitty work environment. Apple sucks.
