QUOTE(Tenboro @ May 9 2012, 15:46) I'm not planning on keeping that item pane.
Um....WHAT!? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Okay, it's not 'the' item pane, it's 'that' item pane...so we're going to get some interface improvement?

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Okay, it's not 'the' item pane, it's 'that' item pane...so we're going to get some interface improvement? Yeah. It'll be 3D. And fluid. A bubble interface you'll have to dive into and burst bubbles to use the items stored inside. It'll be awesome. And clumsy. And it'll have a truckload of useless, annoying animations to slug down your rig. Portholes, the new Windows. AKA "how to NOT implement the cool GitS SAC cyberbrain's GUI". After seeing the PS Vita bubble interface, not very appealing.

I was relying very heavily on SS. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Any ideas on what to do now to win? I went from dying once in awhile to dying all the time......god i hate this update.

QUOTE(Tiap @ May 8 2012, 16:06) Level 200+ players are not exactly "lowbies"
Yes they are. Especially ones that have done it on the new era of steroid bloated custom monster EXP and IWBTH 25x. and it's meant to be insulting. not something to be proud of.QUOTE(varst @ May 9 2012, 06:02) Um....WHAT!? Don't be shocked if you end up with less item slots in the future. This post has been edited by hitokiri84: May 9 2012, 16:39

Hope this helps

It wouldn't be appealing anyways... QUOTE(hitokiri84 @ May 9 2012, 16:33) and it's meant to be insulting. not something to be proud of.

Nice Update. Really like the new effect of the spells. The New update for 2-H Weapons is great. If the Stun effect remains, it would be awesome. (initial attack, and splits the effects of Shatter Strike is very cool (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) )

When you're looking for advice the Ask thread is the right place. You'll find lots of hepful users. If you sneak a peek at the last few pages you'll see that other people asked your very same questions and were already given some advice.

QUOTE(handabanana @ May 7 2012, 18:15) I just noticed it. I'm gonna try to replicate the same situation a few more times. Does Stun count towards the number of deprecations that trigger curse weaving? If so, oops. But wait, that kind of sucks. So if weapon procs count, I would then want to not have it proc or have one less deprecation on my target because my whole kill FSM plan hinges on me being able to keep Silence on it at all times. If poor timing has Silence about to wear off, Weaken, and Stun shortly wearing off, I'll either waste some mana having to recast Silence until it sticks or risk having Silence wear off while I futily fight the curse weaving mechanism only to have FSM 1-hit me.
So there's 3 solutions depending on some more research:
1. If a spell will renew a deprecation to the target, curse weaving will not kick in.
2. Deprecating effects not originating from a user-cast spell will not count towards the 2 deprecating effects required for curse weaving to kick in.
3. Reword the concept of curse weaving clearly stating that recasts and non-spell effects (weapon procs) count towards the 2 deprecating effects required for curse weaving to kick in.
1 will please all players in general, 2 will please players who don't use weapons that have procs (what?), but 3 is probably just plain easier for Tenboro.
My worst fears have been confirmed, kind of. [ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/7oYez.pngSo it's either that Stun counts as a second deprecation, kicking in curse weaving or renewing Silence counts as attempting to add a third deprecation. I'll try re-casting Silence without Stun to see if it still kicks in. But I don't think I'm gonna risk casting a fresh Silence with only Stun and Weaken active. Though, it's not impossible. Edit: It just happened. [ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/YLmVf.png <- Casting Silence with only Stun and Weaken active on target. No curse weaving or really lucky. [ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/7YTrM.png <- Casting Weaken with only Stun and Silence active on target. No curse weaving or really lucky. Silence wore off while Stun was still active. Unless I was lucky, I'm going to say Stun isn't counted as a deprecation that causes curse weaving to kick in. Notice curse weaving made me just pour mana down the drain in my last few casts? Yeah, curse weaving is broken. I'd rather remember that certain deprecations cancel each other out than simply be forced to use less deprecations. Edit: Now I'm just confused... [ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/lfG1u.png <- Casting Silence with Silence and Weaken active on target. No curse weaving or I don't even know what to think anymore. Edit: [ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/mkyIW.png <- Miss-casting Silence 5 times in a row isn't normal, but on curse weaving it is. Curse weaving, not even once. So, Tenboro, curse weaving, how does it work? This post has been edited by handabanana: May 9 2012, 19:04

QUOTE(derpymal @ May 8 2012, 18:21) Or the gift chances could be tweaked. Variety is good, so not having the same monsters spawn is good. What's bad is needing so many kills to get a good shot at a gift when you're also fighting for spawn slots. So the best compromise would be to tweak the gift chance so you can get around as many gifts as before without needing to spawn as frequently.
This. My monsters rarely bring me anything, even my Level 183 one, and then they are almost always crap, and and I never get the part I need, and it's never in the Bazaar when I look. QUOTE(derpymal @ May 8 2012, 18:21) Bleed does need something more. Either a small damage buff or a secondary effect like a speed/evade reduction. Bleed damage is pathetic right now.
My best Two-handed weapon choice was and is my Fine Ethereal Longsword of Balance. Before Latest Patch: 570+ Bleed-damage per-tick. After Patch: 416 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

They could make Stun cause the monsters to become weaker against Crush, PA to take additional damage from Pierce, and Bleed to make them weaker against Slash.
...wait...no, that would screw Ethereal weapons up.Unless they made Void take benefit from all three debuffs, but that would make them sliiightly OP (Ethereal Katanas, anyone?)
