QUOTE(gianfrix94 @ Feb 5 2017, 07:53) Yep! That's exactly what I need. The icons lined up on consumables, and grayed out when in cooldown. Perfect! Thanks gianfrix! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE(RoadShoe @ Feb 5 2017, 18:43) Which script would I use to show icons when consumables have cooled down and available again.
Mana potion syndrome going on.
If you're using CracklingCast you don't need it. Just set up the minimum mana limit and it will tell you when to scroll your wheel to use a potion.

My concern is knowing when a mana potion is available. If I use a mana potion as soon as it's available, I can keep enough mana in reserves. If I don't use the potion as soon as it's available, I gradually lose all mana until I'm out, the potion is grayed out, and I'm forced into an elixir. Right now, I'm watching the drought countdown, and stopping to check the item list if the potion is available. Slowin' down the grind. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Mana potion restores 75% of base mana (well, 70% at your level) so just adjust the mana limit accordingly. Say, you have 4000 max mana and your base mana is 1500 you can do (4000 - 1500 * 0.7)/4000=0.7375 which is the limit you set in CC settings for mana potion. Should be more than enough.

Frugal --> Too low mana conservation Hit a monster with staff --> A waste of time, use a potion/draught This post has been edited by gianfrix94: Feb 5 2017, 19:01

I totally understand, and I have them set pretty close to what you're saying based on 3,100. But my Mage is still weak, uses a LOT of mana, and I have a low max mana of a little over 3,100. So at where my character is, the mana cooldown period is near exact my mana usage. If I don't use the potion exactly when it's available, my usage outruns my potion return. The icon script above had every single consumable icon there is. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) And I've maxed out item/scroll etc. training, so I have in my item list every single consumable there is. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) It literally slowed my system down. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I yanked them all out and left only 4. The mana to keep me on track, and the health for giggles. I'll go to the item list for the rest. Voila! System sped back up. I haven't seen that many frugal cottons for auction, but I would use it in a second where I'm at right now. As for attack when I'm low, I've got reloader 1.3.5 set up as Smite, Smite, Banishment, Smite, Paradise Lost. (It just seems to kill better with that smite between tier 2 and 3. No real data to back that up.) Throwing in attacks manually... I'm just too lazy to do that. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

A potion, you can use it only once in a while, and you'll eventually burn your stock. An arcane blow, it's available at any time, it's free, and it can also restore a good amount of mana. The main issue with arcane blow, is that you need Haste on to be able to chain decently the mana regen procs.

An Arcane Blow, that when you try at a decent difficulty to use, you get killed because Mages are Glass cannons.

Draughts and Elixir exist to supply Potions (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE(decondelite @ Feb 5 2017, 16:45) And when I read this I'm wondering why people spit on frugal cotton, or why it's too hard to just hit a monster with the staff... Because income/turn is increased by significantly more by using Charged instead. Having to restore mana is annoying, but higher incoming damage is a whole lot worse. Never use standard staff attack, it's useless and hurts your overall income, even with Coalesced Mana factored in. I did the math a while back. Don't be at all afraid to use elixirs, they're pretty much just as good as potions.

Yes ... Step 1: Download the script from this thread Step 2: If the script is compressed (file name ends with .zip), extract it, or if the file name ends with .txt remove the .txt bit. A user script should always end with .user.js Step 3: From your Win Explorer/Finder drag one (!) script into chrome extensions at a time. You will have to confirm permission for each script, so only one addition is allowed by the browser at a time. Step 4: ??? Step 5: Profit

Step 5: Profit I think this often doesn't work with newer versions of Chrome. They've been making installing custom extensions much more difficult in the past couple years. I think Tampermonkey is more reliable.

FIFY And yes, Google have become ultimate nazis regarding extensions and scripts. Now every extension that hasn't been installed from their catalog will not be usable.

v.1.0.3.21 - Added cast "Queue" and some fix by simrock87.
The following list can input to cast queue. number key, spacebar, mouse wheel and right click.
When I try to open this file to install the script on tapermonkey it just opens a bunch of weird symbols and such. [ puu.sh] http://puu.sh/tUqDp/c744aebe18.pngDid I do something wrong?
