Most people upload galleries and/or complete bounties to download their porn. And those actually contribute to the site. I've never used any of my credits to download the shit, but that's mostly because the credit/GP ratio is ridiculous.

ADDENDUM : The first part is worth quoting, though. And add "that contributes nothing to the site and eats up bandwidth" while you're at it.
