So a question regarding the removal of non-h galleries. I scanlate some non-h doujinshi that we buy from comiket.

I myself would consider it relevant since they are sfw doujinshi's that obviously will not be licensed. But I wanted to make sure these would still be allowed.

Right now as I understand we are not to re-categorize our non-h doujinshi to misc. So I'm not sure where we are supposed to upload new non-h doujinshi.

I really hope hope we can keep non-h for non-h doujinshi and artbooks and anime fanart sets that don't fall under hentai. It's hard to find a lot of that stuff else where. This was my favorite spot for everything.

I don't care about non-h manga or asian porn that can be found in many sites all over the net and if it's gonna make trouble for ehentai then it should definitely go. I will keep look out for non-h manga to report.

I understand that it's a pain moderating the idiots that post commercial stuff, but there are some great non-h manga that will never be licensed, and E-hentai is where I found them.

I can't do anything but say this is a bad idea, and you're alienating and disappointing a lot of people.

The same situation for Asian Porn. There are still uploaders trying to sneak in these galleries thru' the other categories.

But I do have a question for Tenboro, how is it that they are able to upload thru' the Asian Porn category? Isn't this category already disabled in the upload gallery function? Is this a fluke?

Edit: So far, this is the only uploader that is able to continue uploading under Asian Porn, since the new announcement.

To you and others like you, please read the whole topic before posting. We are attempting to remove all the commercial manga to be able to save the rest of non-h.

As for "alienating and disappointing a lot of people", it's better than taking a chance with lawyers which could result in the end of the site over things that have nothing to do with the theme of the site (adult fanworks, they are neither adult nor fanworks), and really should not have been uploaded in the first place.

To be honest, I'm disappointed by the recent changes on what's allowed, as I wouldn't have gotten interested in many manga series if it wasn't for having come across them here - especially rarer and more obscure titles. But I understand Tenb's viewpoint, so I'm already helping out in the commercial non-h thread

But I'm glad that at Tenb is at least willing to consider keeping non-h category, instead of having all non-h stuff such as artbooks and non-h doujins being re-classified into misc category; there's so much crap that I'm not even interested in that category that I've had it blacklisted. I don't want to deal with those randoms while looking for good non-h stuff.

I'm still wondering if any my galleries are even worth saving. Besides the mythology manga, ALL of them are non-h Zelda doujins. At the least, the manga should probably go. The doujins are not published outside Japan AFAIK, though.

Yeah, this is a bit confusing and hardly satisfactory. Ten, can we resume uploads to non-h (for non-commercial manga galleries, of course)? It will save us time reclassing stuff to non-h in the future.

That would definitely go about freeing up a lot of resources. Let's do a proper clean-up. Are there any constraints in keeping the expunged galleries? Since Asian Porn will be purged, let's start with those, new "pirated" galleries being sneaked in no longer needs any older galleries to be referenced to. It should be expunged & deleted from the system automatically.

Another issue is of the expunged galleries still being able to generate GP for the OP. (Please, please correct me if I'm wrong)
This topic was previously brought up in the Vigilante forum. I'm not too sure if many of the viewers are even aware of this. Can Tenboro & the moderators re-look into this matter?

IMO, why should an expunged gallery still generate GP, regardless of the reasons. I mean really, it's no longer visible to the public, so why still reward the OP? For example, knowingly upload a gallery that the OP knows will be expunged, gets expunged, the OP leaves it the system, & still get GP for it - where is the logic behind it?

Expunging/vigilante thread is a lot more safe; multiple people need to agree that it's the wrong stuff (or at least we get to see what others are reporting before Tenb nukes them) and not some troll reporting good stuff.

The thing is that they have to download it first before they can view the images.
Either they download it for free but face limit/time constraints, or pay for premium usage.
Here, prior to the changes, they could view it readily for free.
