I mean, when I look at absolutely bizarre galleries of philipino women such as galleries that are titled 'Minka' (sorry I cannot post url because this is my first post), I cannot help but think about the problem that lies within the broad term of 'Asian Porn'.

So many under-quality galleries are being uploaded on the disguise of 'Asian Porn', regardless of my personal taste. I mean, unless one's taste is towards not-so-pretty, elderly middle-aged South-Asian female. (And I am not trying to be a racist or anything, but come on!)

My humble opinion is, that maybe it would be for the better, to restrict that 'Asian Porn' into North-East Asian Porn, or perhaps simply, to 'Japanese Porn'.

I'd welcome constructive arguments against my opinion.

Any change for "Asian Porn" would probably consist of it being removed entirely. It and "Non-H" have the lowest pageviews per uploaded file out of all categories - even lower than "Misc" - and they are both more trouble than they are worth, but for different reasons.

Aww, but my Non-Hentai galleries are going to be sorely missed if you remove both of those categories! ;(

Licensed uploads is the largest problem, but while the more popular categories are averaging around 1200 views per uploaded file, Non-H has a rather paltry 179. Which is the lowest of any category, including Misc.

Well most non-h titles compete with sites like Mangafox or others for hits. The loosely themed non-h galleries likely aren't of much interest to anyone since they lack taggable traits.

If 3D got its own category I bet Misc hits would drop like a rock.

Kill it, and replace it with a 3d category, so we can separate 3d galleries from misc.

I wouldnt miss asian porn category at all.

half of the time they are trash and like someone said before it's starting to become a problem (hello minka!)

I actually like the non-h stuff. It's a bit refreshing to see something of a change of pace. Unlike most normal manga sites, they mostly do stuff like bleach and so on. While here, I sometimes see random stuff worth attempting to get translated that would most likely never have been done.

And yea, i've never really seen a good asian gallery myself. And if someones mentioning useless galleries; what about those random "My favorites" galleries? It's one thing for a theme like "Super Chunky Asses" or a character gallery, but mostly it's just random pics you can collect off gelbooru.

So as a hentai site real porn and cosplays aren't needed.
An own category for 3d.
And non-h has to be at least ecchi/ borderline h like Kimiiro Focus, Nozoki Ana and so on.

I'd have to agree with Super Shanko in that I appreciate the Non-H stuff (ecchi or not) that would be hard to find elsewhere, and that "favorites" galleries are mostly pointless, but for those low ratings might be enough to self-police them.

As for Asian Porn, I don't have much of an opinion. Seen a few gems at times but don't really care if it went right now.

Although Non-H does overlap a bit with sites like Mangafox, I usually come here to read non-H doujins and the likes which I can't find in the mainstream hentai sites. I think Non-H should be kept the way it is.

Exactly. We don't host non-h mainstream series, but we are the only outlet I know for grouping all dojin-like non-h with English interface, and we host an occasional release.

Plus, the boundary between h and non-h is a bit fluid, a lot of very ecchi galleries sit in the non-h section.
