For some reason I consistently lose one point of Spirit. I am on low enough level to not have access to Spirit-related spells, not using Scrolls. And I DO NOT use Spirit Stance. Yet, at the end of some Arenas I see a loss of 1 SP. Why?

Spirit mode consumes 1 SP and overcharge per action to use.
You probably used it to do more damage to attack something.

QUOTE(dcherry @ Jan 27 2012, 08:46) Shadow Dancer suffix. I know of a few melees that opted for full Shadow Dancers. I'm sure they were smirking over the "issues" other melees have. That aside, I think you underestimate the drop rate of new gear. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Shouldn't take more than a week to construct a new suit of shade if you're not happy with a full suit of shadow dancer shade. Whether it be via trade, drops, or shrines or mix/matching some old Shadow Dancer. I have never gotten a shadow dancer equip in the past even if I have had like 10+ shade armor. So what you're saying is that they have 0 burden even pre-patch? The wiki only states that it adds/increases physical critical bonus, evade, dexterity, and agility. Either that, or you're telling me that the benefits from have a Shadowdancer shade equips is so great that it didn't matter pre-patch from post patch. This still means that they're affected by the burden update though (they're also extremely rare from my experience)... As for the drop of new gear... I don't play hverse as much as the rest of you so gaining items takes a lot longer for me than what I've accumulated since the start when hverse had equips and people no longer fought naked. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure it would take most of us more than a week to get a whole set of shade back. This post has been edited by Ratio: Jan 27 2012, 20:51

Yes they had 0 prepatch. It's good to know you're using the wiki but the release notes are very useful too y'no (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Light Armor Changes - Shade Armor, a new type of Light Armor, was added. This is a rare low-burden high-evade/resist type armor with physical damage and accuracy bonuses. -- Interference is the same as Kevlar, but Burden is about half. -- In addition to Fleet/Negation variants, it also drops in the new Shadowdancer and Arcanist types. --- Shadowdancer adds a +phys crit bonus, increases the evade and dex/agi bonuses, and has no burden. --- Arcanist adds a bonus to magic accuracy, increases the resist bonus, and halves the interference. https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?s=&am...t&p=1093905It would take me ~3 days to get a full new shade suit if I were any level below 150. At my current level it'd take me 1 week. Maybe 2 weeks if no auctions are posted. Because of my level I have a lower selection of people I can buy from without the gear needing IW. Sounds like you're underestimating the market and the power of trade. Considering how many players play this game, I'm sure there's a decent amount of new shade floating around already. If you log in for every new dawn then you play about as much as me. Edit: Correction, I guess a full new shade suit would be inaccurate. I like SD as well so I'd probably mix/match. Course that'd make it easier for me to get my 0 burden suit. This post has been edited by dcherry: Jan 27 2012, 22:01

Hmm well I don't normally check update notes unless it's something as drastic and game changing as this one (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif). I'm more of a wiki person. Well... there's a good reason why I'm at my level right now and you're at your level right now (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Last I checked, before the patch, a single decent SD piece cost over 100-150k. That is wayyy too much for under lvl250 players. Considering that all melee now will be bidding for SD, prices are going to go even higher.

This patch made SD slightly worse, as i gained interference with out any positive changes to it. It also lost it main distinction of having zero burden. It's not going to be selling for that much and new player don't need SD just Shade of some kind.

HVStat uses approximations, not exact figures. It's normal.

I like the new changes! Weapon Skills are *much* more useful now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I still wish I could add Weapon Skills to the Quickbar though... but I suppose the cooldown aspect introduces some potential issues with that. Edit: Using the user.js for now, thanks to a certain someone for pointing out the post! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) And thank you Tiap for making it. I've to admit that this patch starting to get on my nerve somewhat... Even after major upgrade to my char, I get no improvement at all; indeed, the performance is still nowhere near before the OC thing was changed. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) But for this patch though, 'get no improvement' is equaled to 'big improvement' I supposed... I don't get any improvement by switching my difficulty. True story.

I repeat, I DO NOT use Spirit Stance. It is useless to my mage style as of now, and i do not any substantial amount of generate Overcharge to keep it long enough to be useful anyway. This post has been edited by hen_Z: Jan 28 2012, 16:15

It is possible that it occured after you changed your equipment sets or auras or put exp into your stats.
Next time, click back until you reach the point of losing the spirit.

Hm, maybe that was the reason indeed. Thanx for the advice!

I don't know if someone mentioned this already, but Vital Strike is bugged. If you proc bleeding using a weapon that normally doesn't cause bleeding, it doesn't do any damage.

it's updated eh? don't actually understand what changed but, i've been absent from arena farming for two or three weeks... some days ago finally i had time to play HV, but the arena seems harder, and for some reason MP cost going up, or maybe my MP seems too few, considering cure costs 25 MP. i can't even finish 35 round arena. or.. maybe there's a trick to survive?

nope that sounds about right, Mobs now have more HP so generally arenas will take longer to finish.
