Arena battles and Ring Of Blood are definately letting me do more physical damage to monsters, the progress of the battles is loading faster, AND Blood Tokens are being thrown around like candy. When it comes to loot. Mage staffs are being given away as bundles of firewood practically. Grindfest was absurdly hard and slow earlier today on normal mode. Wow, the increased HP on monsters really does make agitated status brutal, especially since now evasion has been lowered for effectively everyone without a full Phase/Shadowdancer set and ethereal weapon. I thought Tenboro said in the last patch that he didn't just want to make changes that only suited the high-leveled minority, but this aspect of the patch at least seems to do that to an extent.
Also, everyone with a good, old set of Shade Fleet armor for whatever fortune they bought it for now needs to buy a new set.
Also, RIP non-Phase and non-Shade armor types.

See some Shade leggings in the Bazaar now. One with burden and another without burden.

This update kills melee (evade, more life, greater mana cost due to interference). This update kills mages (spirit channeling is weaker, same as above) People with high-end equips need to get new ones. People without any high-end equips are screwed either way. This update is only for people who like to play the game in higher difficulty (Hell onwards). Either way, everyone loses big time. RIP everyone. This post has been edited by Ratio: Jan 23 2012, 04:25

I use 3 less mana pot playing in T&T ::trollface::It still a nerfed compared to 0.6.2 though... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

After playing Arenas: This is another awful update. Except this time Mages share in the misery: Too slow. Monsters are way stronger. Getting penalized above and beyond the past even if your armor has good interference and burden stats. And to add insult to injury, the cost of spells has gone up. Oh sure, you can go into spirit mode, but that does you no good to hold off to try and save, especially at the start of a round when the mobs are all getting crits. This is the definition of insanity at this point. We aren't going to get a difference result with these updates; perhaps that is the grand scheme here...too many players on HV so this is to make a bunch of people give up? -Normal and Hard got stupidly slow, the HP raise pretty much gets rid of that extra experience bonus custom monsters get per PL.
-IWBTH's experience is awesome at my level, but kill before being killed means proficiencies falling behind.
I don't like this.

IWBTH on lower arena level got much easier But I can't even Lv100/90 Arena on Hard that I completed everyday
I'm mage btw, and lost about 4% Evade

So, I guess the way title damage bonus works is it's applied after all other damage values have been calculated, making it pretty much negligible?
