QUOTE(Maximum_Joe @ Jan 3 2012, 23:03) If you have over 1,000 pieces of equipment you should be told when loot drops that a piece of equipment was turned into an item.
That sounds reasonable except it'll really hit hard if something like your 1001 equip happens to be a exquisite+ or good ethereal gets converted. Love to prevent it prior, course i guess i'll need to just empty my equips more often.

Maybe something like a notice of the number of slots used when near 980? Perhaps in battle when turn ends? Always told how many at Forge since it shows all items, anyways? We shouldn't have to make something like HVStat to count the number of lines in the Forge's list. :grin:

If it hasn't been suggested before, if we reach the end of the arena challenge itself and have some sort of Health/Mana/Spirit Gem by the end of it, could it be implemented so that it'd be used to restore however much it's supposed to? I think it'd help now that auto-heal's gone, just a little.
Not to mention how often I get one after killing the last enemy.

I'm probably late to the ballgame on this one, But with negative imbues no longer working, does the Karma Shield training have any relevance anymore?

Question mainly for Tenboro, but if anyone else knows for sure:
Is the damage formula for spells still:
damage = max(1, (randomness * spell_data * magic_dmg * critmod * aoe_mod * channel_mod - defense_abs) * defense_mit)
magic_dmg = ((base damage) * (1 + elem_bonus) * (1 + prof_bonus) * (1 + boost_bonus) * (1 + hath_bonus) * stamina_damage_factor )
defense_mit = (1-.0007*end)*(1-.0004*wis)*(1-spec_mit) defense_abs = ?
or have things moved around when you rewrote the code?

Things seem to have calmed down now, which is probably good?
Anyway, after having spent some time reforging some gear, I have to say that the forge is actually pretty awesome. It's well balanced too; you can get some noticeable upgrades from reforging, yet it doesn't break the game. So yeah. I'm pretty happy with this patch now.

Why I thought 980 was reasonable... If you're that close, you probably should sell some stuff to make room. It's probably mostly stuff you'll never use again, anyways. Imagine a closet full of size 7-12 shoes belonging to someone who has a 12.5 foot. Except shoes can't be leveled (but can be traded), hehe. And the forge actually has separate tabs so you'd have to make it the item world if using something like HVStat and even then it would miss items in cooldown. Still, there's no reason to not just add a total somewhere on the Forge pages.

Do the Hath perks that used to enhance the "Spirit Attack" do anything now? They say the exact same thing as before, so what's happening with that?
And what about the trainings that don't do anything anymore? A lot of people put a lot of credits into those, a refund would be nice. With or without the refund, they could be replace with something else. Something like increasing the number of gems you can hold and/or their drop rate? Or something that reduces the amount of OC skills use?

Thanks, Maximum_Joe. Karma Up! for you.
A gem related Training is a good idea. I can't enough of that $hit. Also, Karma Shield could be replaced with something that +% the amount of Karma actually given when I click their little yin yan.
Who am I kidding? Tenb won't notice this post.

IIRC Tenboro said something about how the change to them is in the works I consider this a bug: no mana regen occurs during Skill attacks or activating spirit mode This post has been edited by skillchip: Jan 9 2012, 09:59

Spirit Mode: Like. Chewing up monsters like never before. Maybe Overcharge isn't adding to my melee damage any more, but I don't really see a difference.
Weapon Skill: Don't care. Shield Bash seems pointless. But if I don't use it, it doesn't bother me.
No More Free Heals: Don't like. (But hey. It was a gimme.)
The Forge: Where do I get materials? None of the materials I need to upgrade anything seem to exist in any of the shops, and none of the monsters deem to have dropped anything.

Feed crystals to monsters until they start to win battles. The monster lab is at the Bazaar.

@Bolivar Q Shagnasty Since your a low enough level, when your done with the arena do CrysFest until your stamina drops to 79 or 80. You should be able to get enough crystals this way to upgrade your monster(s). The rest of the time, just buy the crystals you need from other players in the WTS section.
Upping your monster stats will eventually bring in better materials and bindings you might need. It can also every once in a while bring in a high level material that you can sell to other people for credits if you do not plan to use it.
