As for the Dovahkin. I know of 1 melee that did it. He used a scythe. Day after this patch came out. Yes, Dovahkin. That means BT/IWBTH DwD. With a non-Mace. The weed-thwacker. The bleeder. Not sure if it was even eth. I'll even give you a hint, I mentioned him already + his weapon used in my previous reply.
You sound like you're trying to barrage me with theory. Theory only goes so far. Kinda like the whole mace thing just now.
E: Thought you were repeating yourself but I was wrong. Just a lot of telling me "what you do" and how agonizingly low melee damage is. That's probably it.

Yeah, different definitions was kind of my points. And especially that whiner is used as a degrading epithet for anyone whose opinions you don't like.
And yeah, apparently I'm stupid for trying to do arguments backed by facts and trying my best to answer everything, guess that's a fault I've acquired from arguing in more serious debates.
And yes, hard casting regen 2. Yes, it's not the best thing, but since we melees don't cast all that many spells, there isn't all that much channeling happening. And casting a cheaper spell over and over just to hope for channeling isn't really going to help with mana management.
I think you know the melee in question. Which as far as I know is pretty much the poster-boy of OMGWTF-equipment.
And yes, I try to barrage you with theory. Because in theory and math there is actual substance, instead of anecdotes of how my friend this and that.
I could claim I know of a mage, whose name I shall not mention, who does school-girl marathons on IWBTH and doesn't even need to use potions. But it's pretty worthless since it might as well be made up, or be some really good luck with power gem drops.
And yes, I was telling you what I do, since you were complaining that I must be doing it wrong, and hoping you could then point out what I was doing wrong so I could start doing DwD on BT with melee weapons. Or any of the schoolgirl marathons on hard even.
