QUOTE(wr4st3r @ May 3 2013, 18:18) Not sure what to make of the kanji there, is it really "gin"? Yes. His name. QUOTE(wr4st3r @ May 3 2013, 18:18) Is kenzenhon a particular kind of volume perhaps? "健全本" means G-rated fanzine (non-"adult only"). QUOTE(wr4st3r @ May 3 2013, 18:18) PS: Thira, I saw you picked up the last bounty for Hatsujou, good stuff! I'm almost done here, will send you a pm later so we can coordinate on a couple things! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) I've already finished II and about to finish III. I didn't know II is pre-story of yours. Also, puns around Memeta are really troublesome (But his name isn't mentioned in II and/or III).

It's great that you picked it up, and yeah Memeta is just crazy (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Thanks for helping me out, I just sent you a pm!

Hi everyone. I'm currently translating this and I have a few questions... page 21, last panel: QUOTE そんな種島さんにとっておきのいい方法があるよ!
So, as I understand it, it should be read as とっておきのいい方法, and not 種島さんにとって (maybe I'm wrong though). However, I still can't make sense out of this. I don't understand what this 方法 is for. From the global WORKING!! setting, maybe it's a way to make her taller (but I seriously doubt it). From the particular setting here, maybe it's a way to calm her after she took the "aphrodisiac", but I don't see anything that corroborates this hypothesis... page 28, on the left: QUOTE OPは愛の手参加の山田ということで、
I don't understand what 愛の手参加 means (I'm not even sure I'm parsing this right). page 28, on the right: QUOTE 山田家族計画と謳っていながらも前回小鳥ちゃん、今回相馬さん…と山田以外に愛がだだ漏れしています。
Erm... I understand pretty much nothing in this sentence. I mean... I understand each word separately, but I can't turn it into a sentence that makes any sense... And I also have a question about something that isn't in this doujin. I have read somewhere: QUOTE この世に悪の栄えた験し無し
(a "good" guy says this to some bad guys before beating the hell out of them). Now, from what I read on the internet, it's some kind of idiom, but I don't understand what it means. I'd be very grateful if someone could help me.

QUOTE(KirbyDances @ May 5 2013, 14:43) maybe it's a way to calm her after she took the "aphrodisiac", but I don't see anything that corroborates this hypothesis... そんな種島さんに "そんな" links this reference with the aphrodisiac/how it's affecting her. QUOTE page 28, on the left:I don't understand what 愛の手参加 means (I'm not even sure I'm parsing this right). Good question... QUOTE page 28, on the right:Erm... I understand pretty much nothing in this sentence. I mean... I understand each word separately, but I can't turn it into a sentence that makes any sense... He's lamenting the fact that, despite calling the books "Yamada Family Plan", he's "diluted" (you could say) it by including Kotori last time and this time Taneshima. QUOTE And I also have a question about something that isn't in this doujin. I have read somewhere:(a "good" guy says this to some bad guys before beating the hell out of them). Now, from what I read on the internet, it's some kind of idiom, but I don't understand what it means.
Looks like you could interpret it "Evil never prospers" or loosely "Crime (Evil) doesn't pay". See [ ejje.weblio.jp] 試しがない: "has never happened". Then see [ dictionary.goo.ne.jp] ためし (例/様): "前にすでにあったこと。先例。前例。" I think 試し/験し is actually being misused where 例/様 would be correct. So literally: there's never been a case where any "good" has come of evil. (I'm just using "good" like "profit" or whatever, here.)

QUOTE(KirbyDances @ May 5 2013, 19:43) OPは愛の手参加の山田ということで、 Author's mistake. "合いの手" and means "interlude / chime / punctuation / interjection". Also means "short appearance during a show". QUOTE(KirbyDances @ May 5 2013, 19:43) この世に悪の栄えた験し無し This is a very famous phrase especially in Jidaigeki, and often translated like: "Since time began, evil has never prevailed on earth." BTW, "家族計画" also means "birth control" in Japan.

There seems to be some grammar that I haven't learned yet. What does it mean when a verb ends with "zu" like 思わず?
I was reading some manga and I came across this:
初めての中出しどう?私も思わず射精しちゃった
Any help? Thanks!

It's basically just an adverbial negative form.

I have some sentences I'm not sure about:
犯罪だねーかわいそうだけどタイホだねーお兄ちゃん It's a crime, it's pitiful but you'll be arrested, right, Onii-chan
ア夕シにこんな事させやがってあとで覚えとけよ... ?...afterwards untie me...
あ、あのちゃんと出せそうですか? Uh, umm will you be able to properly take it out?
まあボクはカワイイからこのくらい余裕ですね! Now, now, I'm cute, this much is more than enough!

Hello, everyone! I need some help with this: https://e-hentai.org/s/ec46792acd/490831-17First of all, the title. I'm not sure how to word it properly. It's something like "Spirit Fuss Frolicking", but it sounds so weird... Then there are two sentences in the afterword: 早苗さんは暴走ルートで、上手い事愛情を注げればなぁと、なんとなく妄想してます and さてさて新作ネタを使おうとも思案したのですが、時期的になんとも微妙なところでしたので、一応気を使って 体験版くらいまで! I'm not sure what this "上手い事愛情を注げればなぁ" and this "時期的になんとも微妙なところでした" means. Can anyone help?

QUOTE(Yuuki17 @ May 6 2013, 23:18) 犯罪だねーかわいそうだけどタイホだねーお兄ちゃん It's a crime, it's pitiful but you'll be arrested, right, Onii-chan
Translating the 2nd ねー as "right" is being too literal. It's basically just being used for effect. It would be possible to translate that effect, but what you have above is not accomplishing that. (Besides "right", the line is fine, though.) QUOTE ア夕シにこんな事させやがってあとで覚えとけよ... ?...afterwards untie me... させる+やがる = させやがる (させやがって) (And there's an omitted を after 事.) とけ is not "untie". 覚えておく -> 覚えとく, command = 覚えとけ She's saying she'll make him pay for what he did/made her do. QUOTE あ、あのちゃんと出せそうですか? Uh, umm will you be able to properly take it out? 出せそう comes from 出せる comes from 出す (it's the potential form). So it's more "put out"/"expel". For all I know, "take out" could work for your scene, but I kind of doubt it... QUOTE まあボクはカワイイからこのくらい余裕ですね! Now, now, I'm cute, this much is more than enough! I think "Now, now" is more appropriate for "まあまあ". "まあ" usually feels more like just "Well". The sense of "余裕" here is much more "easy"/"no problem" than "more than enough". QUOTE(pesu @ May 7 2013, 07:36) First of all, the title. I'm not sure how to word it properly. It's something like "Spirit Fuss Frolicking", but it sounds so weird...
"A Lark with Troublesome Spirits"? QUOTE Then there are two sentences in the afterword: 早苗さんは暴走ルートで、上手い事愛情を注げればなぁと、なんとなく妄想してます Sounds like he was fantasizing (roughly) about romancing Sanae or something? I don't know the games at all, so I don't know if there's something significant to this in the "Rampage Route" or whatever. QUOTE 時期的になんとも微妙なところでしたので、 Not sure what he's referring to here. =/

"Razzle on the Spiritual Phenomenon" or "Razzle on the Pretext of the Spiritual Phenomenon"? QUOTE(pesu @ May 7 2013, 12:36) "上手い事愛情を注げればなぁ" He means "if I can draw her with love". QUOTE(pesu @ May 7 2013, 12:36) ""時期的になんとも微妙なところでした" He means "I think it's too early to use (disclose) secrets of the new product".

Yeah, that sounds much better. Thanks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE(Thira @ May 7 2013, 22:05) He means "if I can draw her with love".
I'm not sure I understand. Can you elaborate, please? How does this connect with the "rampage" thing? QUOTE(Thira @ May 7 2013, 22:05) He means "I think it's too early to use (disclose) secrets of the new product".
Oh. Oooh. Now I get it. Thanks!

"早苗さんは暴走ルートで" is the sentence which was compared as if it's one of the routes of a game scenario. And, "暴走ルートで" means "limitter-off mode" or "insanity mode". Means "limitter-off / insanity by love or misunderstanding".

This shouldn't be hard but I'm failing to grasp the idea... QUOTE 普段しっかりしなきゃいけないから
大きいおっぱいにあまえたいとか。。。。? I just can't get the connection between these two phrases, maybe I'm missing the subject. 普段しっかりしなきゃいけないから - because I should be normally firm 大きいおっぱいにあまえたいとか。。。。? - wants to fawn on big breasts....? Some background: That's the girl's thinking after she found out that her boyfriend likes big breasts while she has small breasts.

QUOTE(shadow_moon @ May 8 2013, 11:09) 普段しっかりしなきゃいけないから - because I should be normally firm This is the symbol of "behave like an adult". QUOTE(shadow_moon @ May 8 2013, 11:09) 大きいおっぱいにあまえたいとか。。。。? - wants to fawn on big breasts....? Also this is the symbol of "behave like a child" (big breasts are the symbol of "mother"). So, it means just literally. But also it means "since he behaves like an adult usually, he also wants to behave like a child sometimes."

Hmm....I see, I see. I didn't know about the meaning behind those phrases, but also I couldn't get how a phrase ending with "から" would connect with another phrase ending with "とか". Thanks for the help.

Yes, this "とか" is translated as "or something" literally. And this means the sentence is her guessing. So, often translated as "I guess~" of the start of the phrase.

QUOTE(GuroLover12 @ May 8 2013, 21:48)
sorry but can some one tell me what this says/give me a summary?
I found this on a VN a LONG time ago and lost the picture. I don't see "18" anywhere.
It basically says that you should complete the original game before playing this one, because it's an extra. It also mentions that this might indirectly answer the questions he received from fans, and is generally a deep and pretty dope (sic!) story. So, be warned and be warned.
