QUOTE(Draugarnor94 @ Aug 14 2024, 08:45) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) Saw the Dm, will keep it in mind. On another matter, playing with online translators it seems that the hunch with the "how" is right. Noticed tho that a) the ニ人 misses とも to be translated as "both of you" and instead it should be "two people" (?). Or can the とも be left away and it could still mean "both of you" (?). The other b. ) thing that i notice is that when it is ニ人なんて the sentence seems to turn out now "Two people, how" ... instead of "how can two people". But I assume it is due to the sentence not being complete?
I don't think using "both of you" or "two people" makes much of a difference in this specific situation. I also don't think the DeepL translation ("How can / could both of you / two people...") is suitable for this particular case. It would probably be better if you used a different phrasing. In the earlier reply I was talking more in general about how the use of "How" in English can be similar to the use of なんて. But the DeepL translation is not wrong because there are many other cases where "二人なんて" could be said where that translation would be perfectly fine. Maybe "Both of you at once? No way…" or "Two of you? No way…" Even not having "No way" would be fine, in my opinion. It's not always important for every word from the original to have a corresponding equivalent in the translation as long as the meaning or feeling is correct. Machine translators need to have enough information to understand the context and provide the most suitable suggestions. The sentence being incomplete probably doesn't help either even though it's perfectly comprehensible to humans who are reading the story. This post has been edited by rinruririn: Aug 14 2024, 05:14

two people, how can ... should be something like 二人なんすれて… or something else. but this sentence doesn't make sense to me in Japanese. And I don't really see it anywhere. There will be a verb conjugation change when you push some verb from do to can do. And their respective question word changes as well.

Have read both your replies @Lady_Slayer and @rinruririn. I agree that the sentence the way the machine gave it out sounds wrong. As assumed there misses context for the translator. Will go back to the "How can both of you..." I would like to ask for one more help please. It is more of a "how would someone write it" this time. In this set on this page https://e-hentai.org/s/74428e317b/2773797-73 there is the sentence "ニ本も…マルの中に…" Having a understanding of 本 being here as a counter for long & thin objects (although can't say these dicks are thin). My question is just how one would write it out: "There are two... inside Maru..." "There are two long, thick ones... inside Maru" "There are two penises... inside Maru" This post has been edited by Draugarnor94: Aug 14 2024, 09:01

In this set on this page https://e-hentai.org/s/74428e317b/2773797-73 there is the sentence "ニ本も…マルの中に…" I'd use "Two cocks…/are inside Maru…" or "Both of your cocks…/are inside Maru…" Either is fine depending on if you want to make her say her lines to no-one in particular or make her talk to the guys. It's also kind of awkward for her to talk about herself in third-person ("inside Maru" rather than "inside me"), but it's fine if you think it's an important part of the character that you want to preserve in the translation.

Thank you again for your reply. I did stick with it to make her say ot in a way that is not forwarded to the guys around her. It seems rather that she is saying it to herself. Well. Some Love Live girls have it in their personality to adress themselves with their names instead of using words such as watashi, boku, uchi etc... So artists of LL stuff do tend to be true to it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) And knowing that girl, as hot as the term "cocks" sounds, she probably would not know that one. Hello, I’m a native Japanese speaker. Please forgive me for my poor English. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) In Japanese, we often omit the subject quite a bit. The nuance of "二本も...マルの中に..." can be correctly interpreted as “Two cocks…/are inside Maru…” Even when the subject is omitted or the grammar is a bit off, Japanese is structured in a way that the meaning can still come through. So, when in doubt, translators could use words that resonate more strongly for them. This post has been edited by tanaka1295: Aug 23 2024, 21:41

My question was rather directed towards a) me not being a native EN speaker I try to find out how something for a English speaking person would sounds good, 2nd) I am trying still to stay close to a characters personality. (For example, EN readers prefer to see the term "Cock" because it sounds more erotic, but considering the Character there she would know "Penis" but not "Cock" due to her innocent and closed off personality) This post has been edited by Draugarnor94: Aug 25 2024, 15:53

I'd rather ask for an actual Spanish translator instead of relying on Google. I have to stop thinking about Moxxie, that fatty and his huge dick. Come and taste our huge, big, juicy, hot dogs. So big they won’t fit in your mouth. Missed a comma there, fatty. Big episode, isn’t it? ![Attached Image](https://forums.e-hentai.org/uploads/post-279596-1725597694_thumb.jpg)

Having difficulties translating this:
Girl: にいちゃんが・・・太くて長いモノでずぶずぶってしてきて・・・ Boy: してきて? Girl: それが・・・気持ちいい・・・
Mainly how to convey the boy's line.

QUOTE(AndKnuckles @ Oct 3 2024, 03:36) ![*](style_images/ambience/post_snapback.gif) The guy is prompting the girl to say more, by repeating her last words. So it could go something like this, depending on how you translate the girl's line: //Second option (active-voice) feels less suitable if you make the boy repeat her words ("Into you? …And?"), but it's fine if you prefer it.Girl: にいちゃんが・・・太くて長いモノでずぶずぶってしてきて・・・ Girl: Nii-chan… your thick long thing is thrusting into me… OR Girl: Nii-chan… you're thrusting your thick long thing into me… //Second option is shorter, which is good for typesetting in the small bubble here, and also works with second option above.Boy: してきて? Boy: Thrusting into you? …And?OR Boy: …And? Girl: それが・・・気持ちいい・・・ Girl: It… feels good… In conversations spoken out loud, using a questioning tone of voice when repeating someone's last words is enough for the listener to indicate that they want to hear the speaker elaborate on what was just said, but we can't hear tone in printed media without special effects like extra question marks or anger marks. Adding "…And?" will provide a clear visual indicator. This post has been edited by rinruririn: Oct 2 2024, 22:26

Good day dear Forum, I got a question. Artist dropped a sequel of a set that I previously translated. (Orignal set is from 2022/2023) Previous parts in Japanese: https://e-hentai.org/g/2446740/da2216693a/Before I upload the new set here to sadpanda I am trying to translate the new parts. The artist seems to have changed the story a bit though and included that Ruby will be get fucked by two guys. I have provided the links to the new pictures trough Freeimage.host since they are too big for attachement. [ iili.io] https://iili.io/29at0KB.jpg Page 33 [ iili.io] https://iili.io/29at1cP.jpg Page 34 [ iili.io] https://iili.io/29atMHF.jpg Page 35 [ iili.io] https://iili.io/29atES1.jpg Page 36 Page 35 is the one in question. Upper right corner the guy mentions: 今知り合いも呼んだからさ -> I have invited someone I know. On that following is: ふたひ...? by the girl which is most likely ふたり...? -> two people, both, pair? Although it feels strange for her to ask "Two of you?" since she may have not expected it. My question is now if ふたり can be used in that matter here as her asking "A second person...?" Would that work?
