You're misunderstanding who is protecting who here. "わたしを守ってくれる彼のために" is not "For the sake of his protection" but "For his sake, who have been protecting me". I don' t see many scenarios where you would need to give a guy a blowjob to protect him. Sure there are some twisted plots and forced scenarios but we're not talking about those here.

Yes, that's how I interpreted it. Since we're talking about a media that mix images and writings, it's not uncommon for one to complement the other. Sometimes what's written makes no sense by itself, but combined with the image (and some background knowledge in some cases), it makes all sense.
