Can anyone help and give an in-depth breakdown for this. I've asked multiple people, some natives and, some in this site, and I've been getting mixed results.

From what I understand, from the first two lines. The sister is the one that is living alone.

And then the last two lines means that she's the one who goes to your place, and helps out. However, some people have said it's the opposite, I'm the one living alone, and the sister comes over to help me out.

I'm at my wits end here boys, I might have to give back my 87/180, N5 passing exam Certificate.

It depends on how it's broken down.

If you look at it as
"うちの妹は
一人暮らしをしている.
俺のところに来ては
何かと世話を焼いてくれる"
Then it can be interpreted as the sister living alone.

But if you put it as

"うちの妹は,
一人暮らしをしている
俺のところに来ては,
何かと世話を焼いてくれる"

Then it's the sister coming over to where "I" live alone.

If I translate both, it would be something like

"My sister lives alone, and when she comes over to my place, she helps me with various stuffs"

vs

"I live alone, and when my sister comes over, she helps me with various stuffs."

I'm interpretting it as latter since I think it makes more sense for sister to come help her brother living alone(俺 is usually used by men), compared to sister who lives alone to come over to help with some stuffs.

Ohhh, I never thought about breaking it down like that. I did think it was strange for the sister to be the one living alone, and going to the brother, but at the same time, I thought that probably that's a weird fetish for authors that lonely sisters go to their brothers to do help them with their chores and stuff.
