Hello. I would like to ask for help regarding this lines:
...もう、今からこんな調子だと、明日から大変そうです [
page 24]
and
ゼルダは流されやすいタイプだからなー押せば倒れてくれるから、オレもつい調子に乗っちゃう [
page 25]
I'm not really sure the context of these lines. What do they mean?
'...もう'
Whatever your standard preferred expression for exasperation is (Jeez, gosh, *sigh*, c'mon, etc.)
'今からこんな調子だと、明日から大変そうです'
If we keep going at this pace, things are gonna get bad.
If we keep going at this rate, things are gonna get messy.
Something like that.
'ゼルダは流されやすいタイプだからなー'
Zelda is the type that's easy to get to go with the flow...
Zelda is the type that's easy to manipulate...
Zelda is the type that's easy to push into doing stuff...
'流されやすい’ literally 'easily flowed' as in, easy to put into a flow, a current
'押せば倒れてくれるから'
Literally 'If I push you, you fall over for me, so’ (you meaning Zelda, doesn't literally say you)
Seems to be saying, 'it doesn't take much to get you to do what I want', but if he literally pushes her over at some point earlier in the doujin it could also just literally mean 'when I push you, you fall right down for me'
'オレもつい調子に乗っちゃう'
I also end up going along with the mood
I also get caught up in the moment
I also get carried away
So altogether, something like
'Zelda is the type that's easy to push into doing things; if I push you go along with it, so I also get carried away.'
