I think I understood the first one like: "But how to do it with such a lot of man...?" Is it good?
But not the second one, 待っといたら in that form and the meaning of システムin that context, gives me trouble actually... Moreover if you could explain me the use of やし here that'd be great !

My guess is (didn't check any context):

Before we started doing this, I took her for a girl who gets already flustered when she's only close to a class mate. (more literal: get's aware of a classmate)

I guess it's just a phrase explaining how shy she was.
