Yosh ! I would need help with 2 sentences (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) First one: ほんとに癒やし家?でかいタトゥーとかへそピアスとかしてるのわ勘弁よ?context: a guy coming to a brothel can't see the girl he used to, so the receptionist recommend him a newcomer he doesn't know (the guy). My confusion comes from the sense of "healing" from 癒し系and in the second part of the sentence, is he not sure to go with that girl since she has "something like a piercing or a tatoo". "is it forgiveable?" I don't get the exact meaning of 勘弁 too. Second one: 娘連れ実家に帰った家のヨメとはえいら違いだcontext: the same guy join the girl, and recognize her, she's her employee's wife who he send in a trip one month ago. He joined them at the airport before the departure just before the husband left, the sentence is said then. The use of 実家 and 家 looks complicated to me to clearly figured out what the sense is. Hope you could help me ! Thanks!

"is it forgiveable?" I don't get the exact meaning of 勘弁 too. 癒し系 (you used a different kanji in the sentence, by the way) is healing-type; basically, a calm, gentle, soothing girl. 勘弁 here basically means 'spare me' or something. He's saying what he doesn't want. Altogether, it'd be along the lines of "Is she really the soothing-type? Just spare me any girls with big tattoos or belly piercings." QUOTE Second one: 娘連れ実家に帰った家のヨメとはえいら違いだ context: the same guy join the girl, and recognize her, she's her employee's wife who he send in a trip one month ago. He joined them at the airport before the departure just before the husband left, the sentence is said then.
The use of 実家 and 家 looks complicated to me to clearly figured out what the sense is.

(Just to double check, is it transcribed properly?) I don't really understand the context you gave, and this one's more of a wild guess, but... Try splitting it like this: 娘連れ / 実家に帰った / 家のヨメ / とは えらい違いだ Take your daughter / return to your parents' house / stay-at-home bride* / completely different from ~ "You're completely different from those wives* who take their daughters and go back home to live with their parents." *Not really sure about this phrase, but the impression I get from 家の嫁 is that it's a wife that spends her time at home, with no job/children to raise.

two questions: 1) simple title translation the TL who did the script seems inactive, can anyone help by translating to English the title of this dojin: マキマキの花びらペロペロしてもいいんだよ ? Not romaji, I need a nice English title to put in the gallery I am about to release, but Google Translate fails here with "It is okay to petal petals of Makimaki", lol... if you need to look at the cover or whatever, https://e-hentai.org/g/936971/a696fc1a95/just to be clear, we have the dojin translated and edited, we are just missing the title to put in the gallery, as soon as I get a reply this will hit the galleries 2) more challenging, it's a pain to figure out who's saying what, and there are few strange words here that add to the confusion what do you think about the following (I've IDed the speakers, that was not in the TLed script), I've bolded the confusing parts, more context under the script あ・・・ あの ネコネさん Kiuru: Ah...umm, Nekone-san 姉上 お顔に Ougi: Sister, your face... あ すまんね Nosuri: Ah, sorry. な・・・な・・・ なんていうか あの二人・・・ Kiuru: S...S...Somehow those two look so... 仲のいい姉弟を そういう目で 見てるですか presumably Nosuri or Ougi (doesn't matter which one): Do we look like really close siblings to you? あれぐらい 兄様にも してもらうです Nekone: My brother is willing to do that to me too. 不潔なのです ???? presumably not Nekone: That's so impure (filthy? dirty?).兄様とは 健全 なのです Nekone: Doing that with my brother is nothing weird/cruel. そんな!? ネコネさああん Kiuru: Really!? That's cruel, Nekone-san!the text is from bottom of page 28 on https://e-hentai.org/g/917415/dfbcfa3db1/I am rather unsure about the impure and weird/cruel parts at the end. For context, Nosuri and Ougi are the incest siblings featured in the dojin and panel above. Their friends are the ones talking on the confusing panels below. Nekone is implied to have incest feelings for her older brother (who's not present there). Kiuru is not related by blood to Nekone, but he has a crush on her AND respects her older brother who is a role model for him (but I don't think he is implied to be bi or have a crush on him). Anyway, the most confusing thing is - who's making the comment about impure, and how to properly translate Kiuru's last remark. This post has been edited by Red_Piotrus: Apr 13 2018, 08:14

[ macross.wikia.com] Makina Nakajima is a character from the Macross Δ television series...She calls herself Makimaki. So literally it's something like "It's OK to lick Makimaki's petals" but I'd go with something more like, "It's OK to lick Makimaki's love petals" if it were me. QUOTE(Red_Piotrus @ Apr 13 2018, 06:20) 2) more challenging, it's a pain to figure out who's saying what, and there are few strange words here that add to the confusion

不潔なのです ???? presumably not Nekone: That's so impure (filthy? dirty?).
"That's so dirty!" or "That's gross!" is how I'd translate it. QUOTE そんな!? ネコネさああん Kiuru: Really!? That's cruel, Nekone-san!
I think this is just the translator taking some liberties. It's not wrong per se, he just added a word to explicitly say what the Japanese mostly implied. Though I would've gone with "That's so mean!" QUOTE I am rather unsure about the impure and weird/cruel parts at the end.

Unfortunately I'd have to spend a lot more time reading through the doujin to figure this out. Hopefully someone else will come along and do so. At least you have my comments on the other questions though. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Seems so. That's a catchphrase, editor's or someone's impression of Bakuya's art style.

Thanks. For the last part, are we sure she is saying mean/cruel and not 'I am sorry'? That's what machine translation was saying, and it kind of makes more sense. Because I am not sure what's mean/cruel, but I can see Kiuru apologizing to Nekone, because he doesn't want to offend her. Oh, if it helps anyone, here's the RAW + our latest edit of that page [ imgur.com] https://imgur.com/a/AEtBE(yes, two bubbles need to be switched in the middle of the page...) Thanks for the first one ! Thanks for your help but I still can''t fit it correctly in the script... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I'll try to make the context clearer for the second sentence: The guy (who's the husband's CEO) recognize her which brings us into a flashback, when the girl's husband is about to leave. At that time there's him, the girl and the husband. This sentence is a thinking not a direct speech. QUOTE(nonotan @ Apr 12 2018, 13:19) 家の嫁 --> my wife (guy's wife)
But isn't 家の嫁 --> wife/bride's house?

That would be 嫁の家 (よめのいえ)。 As was stated by another poster, 家の◯ (うちの◯)is a way of saying "my ~".

If he's thinking it, he's probably comparing her to his own wife (assuming he has/had one), in which case it'd be "She's completely different from my wife, who took our daughter and went back to her parents' house." Yeah, that's not "I'm sorry". It's an over-the-top reaction to Nekone not liking it like he does. An alternative could be something like "How could you, Nekoneee"

QUOTE(Vile Mk 2 @ Apr 16 2018, 11:45) Can you help me with the tanslation of this text, please?: Something like, "My classmate's mother has a really sexy body!" QUOTE(Vile Mk 2 @ Apr 16 2018, 11:45) Also I need the translation of this title: 春裏麗 It's from this gallery: https://e-hentai.org/g/1131060/5f808b1c38/It's suppose that be somemething like "Chun Li Li" But I want your opinion. Thanks. The kanji normally used to write Chun-Li are 春麗 and the 裏 inserted between them means "rear", "back", or "behind" and can also carry the nuance of "hidden". It's really hard to translate titles like that, because it depends so much on the story. Something like "The Hidden Side of Chun-Li" would be the most natural sounding title, but it may not fit the story. "Chun-Li's backside" or "Chun-Li from behind" might also work if the plot is mostly just about her having sex.
