I'm machine translating something right now (yes I know I'm a terrible person, but its not bounty related, just personal), if an artist ends a line of text with a heart or puts it in the middle of a sentence, should it be treated as a comma, a period, or just ignored completely?

As McHarddrive already pointed out, it's her point of view.
Though 本望 isn't normally translated to "desire".
It's normally (I guess normally at least) translated as "not minding (doing smth)" or "gladly (do smth)".
So that phrase would be
"If I can be eaten by Shuunya-sama, I'll glad accept it".
