In the first, the teacher is talking about where (her?) libido is taking her, 向かう先 seeming to be a non-physical destination. For example, where your anger leads you.
The second is just a wordy way of say, "I, myself, also..." since 自身 tends to be an ambiguous "oneself" when used alone, and also as a teacher she has a higher level of diction than the average manga character.
