Does anyone recognize the middle kanji here? I'm completely stumped, and no dictionary is willing to tell me.

This could be it, since the subject is foods with silly flavors, but the fact that the top right part looks more a 酉 than a 面 continues to confuse me. I think I'll go with this, thank you for the help.

shudouken wo nigiru... sore de kozo yoshiko da deshou? 主導権を握る(shudouken wo nigiru)=to seize the initiative 其れでこそ(sore de kozo)=quintessential point; what one expects; Attaboy! Seizing the initiative... As expected of Yoshiko? Hope it helps, shakuganaexa. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by giftz: Apr 20 2017, 13:54

I've got a handwritten request again, guys. The part in 「quote brackets」 is bugging me, particularly the second half. Help? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) UF

Quick question: On the middle-bottom panel of this page, am I correct in interpreting 「違うんや… 違うくないけど…」as he claiming she's wrong regarding her assumption, but then immediately going back and stating that she is actually not wrong (i.e. "She's wrong...but she's not wrong...")? My confusion stems from the fact that he apparently uses the positive version of the verb (since I assume 違うんや = 違うんだ......unless 違うんや is actually short for 違うんやない?) immediately followed by the negative version (I assume 違うくないけど = 違わないけど)...plus the possibility that maybe he is referring to the situation being "wrong" rather than what she said.

Looks like they sometimes speak in Kansaiben, so as you thought, 違うんや = 違うんだ.

EDIT : Please ignore, activated my brain and deduced it's just an alternative form of 出ちゃう While it was obvious in context ( and hindsight ), what the fuck!? Oh well, got a +1 in my chicken scratching deciphering i guess, yay. I keep seeing this popup but i never can wrap my head around it. It feels like something really stupidly obvious like カ, and that brings me great shame, but i just don't know. Please help ! This post has been edited by Enatcon: Apr 23 2017, 09:34

So I found a doujin called FORGET ME NOT, and it had hilariously bad editing (Not the worst I've seen, Rankaku Lemming's original scan takes that cake). So, as a typesetter, I decided to fix the editing, until I came across this. Now, I'm currently flunking Japanese cold, but even then, I can sense something is off here, so before I go and commission someone to give me a better script, I just want to verify my suspicions. [ a.pomf.cat] Here's the English "translation".[ a.pomf.cat] Here's the raw (I've already leveled it). This post has been edited by Hunter Nightblood: Apr 24 2017, 18:04

"Am I going to die...?" with the kanji for "die" being censored for some reason, unless there's supposed to be something else there. I know nothing about Steins Gate, though. The rest of the page is mostly correct but could be worded better.

Thanks for the input. It looks like I won't have to commission a translator, as the other untranslated parts are just moans. There is only other section that seems off. (IMG:[ a.pomf.cat] https://a.pomf.cat/iatowg.png) That's clearly katakana, so I have no clue where "I" came from. Edit: Changed my mind and am looking into translators so this can receive a quality translation. This post has been edited by Hunter Nightblood: Apr 24 2017, 19:46
