QUOTE(dullian @ Jan 17 2017, 05:37) Well, I actually went and asked the artists himself on Pixiv lol This is what he told me:
初めまして!漫画読んでいただきありがとうございます!おっぴ〜んは日本のポルノ女優が挨拶に使ってた言葉 で、こんにちわのスラングだと思っていただければ
No etymology but at least I'm satisfied knowing how this word is used.
Wow. Thanks!

QUOTE(miceder @ Jan 22 2017, 19:28) My guess would be the full sentence is supposed to be something like グレイ様ともこんな事(したことない), in which case it would be "I've never even done this with Gray-sama"
Yeah that makes sense, thx

QUOTE(webdriver @ Jan 16 2017, 13:15) Help me please, am I doing it right?
何匹ものキメラに卵を産卵され続け
does the sentence means the speaker keeps laying eggs because of the chimera?
Full sentence 何匹ものキメラに卵を産卵され続け、その度に何度も何度もアクメに達し、 薄れ行きそうな意識の中で私は答えた。 -cheers
産卵される could be passive (not let/make) so I might read this as "Countless chimeras laid eggs in me, " This post has been edited by valryssian: Jan 23 2017, 12:50

That's something to the effect of "stunned silence", or staring with their jaws metaphorically dropped. This post has been edited by CapableScoutMan: Jan 23 2017, 15:46

When stuff is repeated like "aa kita kita" or even just "ne ne" is it better to translate it only once? Like: "Ah, here it is." vs "Ah, here it is, here it is." "Hey." vs "Hey, hey." I feel like it seems better just to say it once but I always feel conflicted about it. What do you guys do? Thank you. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) edit: Ok, thank you, CapableScoutMan. Yeah, in most situations I feel like it makes more sense to say it once. Plus, it takes way more characters to say it twice which often has to be fit into a small bubble in editing. This post has been edited by giftz: Jan 28 2017, 09:08

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) What looks better in English is the right choice, most of the time. So I'd say the former, unless the character explicitly needs to say it twice (e.g. if the listener didn't hear them the first time).

If てん(ten)=恬 nonchalant Whatever description works best for 格好(kakkou) = shape; form; figure; posture; pose; appearance; state; situation; suitable; fit; reasonable "You're always so nonchalant." (or seem so nonchalant) Does this help?

This may be a wild guess, but is there a possibility that the line is いつもそんな? As it is, it doesn't strike me as natural. QUOTE(tkhang @ Jan 30 2017, 05:55) Hello, does the title of this page say" With mom" and "76 pages"?
76 colored pages, but yes.

Hi, could someone tell me what the line below says? 激しい is supposed to mean violent / intense / etc, but I don't see how that fits here, so I'm stuck:
妄想の中でも... あんまり激しいのは嫌だよ?
Page for context: g.e-hentai.org/s/0695621453/965431-13
EDIT: Gotcha, I see where I went wrong now. Thanks to both of you!

Hey, Between. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) First of all sorry I can't get your link to work. I think it's along the lines of: 妄想の中でも... あんまり激しいのは嫌だよ? "Even in your delusions... You don't like it to be too intense?" Hope this helps.

Literally: "Even if it's just in your delusions... I don't like it too rough.", so you could translate it as "Even if it's just in your delusions... please don't be too rough." And good choice of doujin.
