I just have a question with this [ order.mandarake.co.jp] link, but does it actually mention the condition of the book?

I don't see a condition rating on it, but there's a note that no rating displayed means it is in the standard, acceptable condition for a used book.

I don't know if this was asked at some point or if this is the right thread to ask this, but what exactly is the general attitude towards re-translating here? As in taking someone's translation, and translating it into a third language. On the one hand, you're clearly exploiting someone's hard work since Japanese is hard while English is literally the easiest language to learn, on the other hand, you're helping out people who for some unfathomable reason still don't know English and it's not like you're hurting the original translator by doing so.
But still, can one go ahead and just leave a credit page for the previous translator, or were some groups known to explicitly forbid using their translations or demand for you to get their OK first? Because I know for a fact that once upon a time there were some manga scanlating groups who absolutely hated people re-translating their work to the point of releasing bogus translation transcripts to fuck people over.

I don't mind someone re-translating stuff I've done into another language, myself. Can't speak for anyone else, though. I'd be more worried about something I got slightly wrong getting even further from the original in the third translation like a game of Chinese whispers. As a point of courtesy I always link to the gallery I used as the raw for my translation so credit for the original is there. Hell, I'd be happy to provide a version with the text/SFX/etc... stripped out if it's one where I've gone to that length. On an unrelated topic. I'm having some trouble with https://e-hentai.org/s/dae2935c5c/323613-3The first bubble is: おい。。。 目が覚めたらこんな状態だったわけだが。。。 納得のいく証明をしてもらおうじゃないか! I read that as "Hey, I didn't expect to wake up to this sort of situation, but... how is she going to accept I got your consent on this?" Now I'm assuming he's talking about his sister walking in on them and thinking he forced her into this. But I'm not 100% sure. Did I maybe read it wrong? I've not seen/read Oreimo, by the way. So I might be totally missing out on something. I did some research on who the characters were and their relationships and all that. But it was far from comprehensive. As long as your trans-translation is faithful to the original, there shouldn't be a problem. You harm no one by translating from another translation. Although it's better if you have some understanding in Japanese too, to make sure that the translation you're translating from is accurate. This post has been edited by chung2795: Aug 18 2016, 06:30

Some people like to be notified about it beforehand, but most people don't really care if someone re-translates.
I care so little that I don't think I could even be assed to respond if someone did happen to ask permission. (And it's not like I could really claim to own it to begin with)

お店の雰囲気とノリでいっ omise no funiki to nori de i...
Here's a quote from a doujin. I was confused about "nori". Apparently it is slang for mood/feeling?
edit: So is she saying something like "The shop has a pleasant atmosphere."? The one girl felt like she was insulted, she replies "no that's not what I meant", then "sou nori". Then says that and is cut off mid sentence?
Thanks to anyone who can assist in understanding this!

Ok thank you very much for the help, N04h! Yeah at first I thought it was the wrong girl talking. And I also thought it was saying いっ to mean いい even though that's usually extended with dashes - not っ right? I think in this case she was just cut off. The doujin starts with her calling the other girl oba-san and the girl gets pissed about it. I think she's explaining herself and saying she was just speaking in the way you're expected to at a shop. Thanks a ton!

Could someone provide a quick translation of the following?

This is more about English than Japanese, but I completed a translation project that contains flowery Elizabethan English. Could someone have a look at these lines and tell me if they sound good enough, or if they could be improved? (I'm aware that they lack context, but copypasting the whole script here would be too much.)
------------
'Tis been ages since I last felt as content.
The bubbles maketh this laborious to drink.
Dear me... I've done it again. I used too much force. Wait here, I shall get it myself.
'Tis surprisingly large for thy age...Yet covered by the skin, much like that of a babe♥
How doth my tongue feel?♥ Art thou enjoying it?♥
A humble spectre, imprisoned within this room ages ago for causing too much mischief. But the invitation from thee, who can perceiveth mine form, broke the seal.
...Haha...worry not. I am obligated to thee, and I shan't forget that - not to mention, thy boyish taste suits my palate♥ I shall stay with thee, if that be thy wish.
Oh, 'tis good to hear! Even in thy dreams, our bodies are intermingled♥
I am unchanging! And thou cannot deny that thou seeketh comfort in this fl...st of mine every year...!
For how long wilt thou stay this year?
...Thou couldst extend thy stay.
'Tis only the first day, and thou'rt already in heat♥
Boorish oaf...”Killing time”? I ought to kill thee instead.
I see thy tongue hath not forgotten the skills I taught thee♥
I too abstained from touching myself in preparation for thy arrival, boy. Perhaps my urges have accumulated♥
Nmm...What a lascivious taste my secretions have...♥
I cannot get enough of the way thou raiseth my waist up with every thrust♥
Mhm, I'm glad to see thou'st saveth so much of thy seed for me...♥
Control thyself. If thou'rt a babe no longer, still thyself and enjoy the after-... Didst thou not hear me?
Will stopping the flow of thy blood help thee regain thy composure, and stop thee from mindlessly thrusting like a monkey in heat?
Address me not as “Oryou-san”. Only...Ginryuu. If thou wisheth to be treated as a man, then fear me not.
...Confessing thy love while ejaculating? Foolishness, or youth? But it got to me, so mayhap I'm no better...
...how foolish thou appeareth when asleep.

QUOTE(Shikiller @ Aug 26 2016, 23:45) Can anyone help with this? I don't get what they mean with あくまでも主役は二人ですから [ imgur.com] http://imgur.com/a/jzHnwIt's from https://e-hentai.org/s/4cac4a3742/967077-43 if anyone wants more context Essentially, "You two are the stars of this event" Meaning they (the ones speaking) only there to support, and the main event will be between the other two.
